I read Josef Bau's description of Plaszow, he said Goethe once shot a man for being "too tall" at appel then urinated on him as he lay dying. In some ways Plaszow was as bad or worse than Auschwitz. Speilberg got the layout of the camp in mirror image.most of the above video is of a modern quarry....If he'd gone to the top of that hill at the end and filmed into that gully you would see the camp. was there in 04 with an old map,found a few relics that are now in a museum.
@cobraschlange I think it's because during that time in the war the camp was still under construction well the house area anyway and by now more than 60 years on the camp is probably bound to look different but I agree with you that it doesn't look anything like in the movie, I find it hard how Spielberg could depict how it might of looked even then
