I was pleasantly surprised to hear that this cover is actually very good. First, I am a wholigan, so my standards are high. The bass is fantastic, as to be expected from Steve Harris. The drum fills disappointed the hell outta me. Keith Moon's shoes are big shoes to fill... but I expect better from Nicko McBrain, because he is a fantastic drummer. The vocals are amazing as well.

Nah theres no way, the bass stuff isnt actually that hard and steve has used much harder stuff in maidens songs. listen back in the village and flash of the blade some of the bass lines in them are scary.

Dont get me wrong entwhistle was really good and he probably played better stuff than this but the bass solo bit in this song just sounds fancy its not as hard as you think

Absolutely. Blaze was a great singer and still is - his solo work is fantastic. I think the only problem was, Maiden have always been very progressive (Well, since 82) and his voice would be much suited to some of the early NWOBHM acts - like Tank or Atomkraft (Or even early Maiden.)

personally, i fell in love with maiden listening to no prayer... it was the only miden record i had, the second was the x factor and i loved every song on it, and then virtual XI the same thing. and i don't think he's bad singer, i actually like his voice rather than paul's, and i'm sure paul wouldn't have replaced bruce better than blaze did... my point is: it's not the same thing before bruce than after bruce.... think about it
