  • I am such a fanboy of this game. I actually wrote a letter to Origin complaining about the ending. Never heard back. Would love to at least know the plot of Bio +.

  • @nimbrillo me 2 man... i love this game.

  • They don't make games like this much anymore. I would like too see stuff like this today.

  • Return the source code or ill command it to destroy you!

  • this was cancelled apparently. :(

  • It's a great pity that this sequel was never released. I loved Bioforge!

  • WarTourist, is there any semi / complete plot available somewhere ? I'd like to know what happened to Dr. Escher and Mastaba. And Lex himself.

  • Holy shit! Worse voiceacting than the original!

  • The original had amazing voiceacting!! This intro is from quick made beta version of Bio Plus!

  • Bioforge ♥

  • This is a great upload, thanks. Bioforge was one of those games that permanently etched itself into my mind. I remember waiting eagerly for the sequel, which of course never came. This vid gives me some closure.

  • So... REALY there's a Sequel for Bioforge.

  • ACtually, there is not :((((( I'd love to play it though. Or at least find the storyline of it.

  • The real question is: Who has the rights and code for this game and let's put hands on the job by ourselves. They did it with Privateer, why not with Bioforge. Good games last forever.

  • Wow. I never knew that they even began work on the sequel. I was pissed when I finished the original, because I was promised I'd get to "meet my maker, and then kill him." And yet, that wasn't how it worked out, was it? I knew that they had spoken of a sequel. It's too bad. During the mid PSX days, a game like Bioforge would have done well as a sort of survival horror entry.

  • whaaaaaaaaaat?! MAN... If I had a bunker of money, I'd spend it to make this sequel come true. I so loved this game. A little, atmospheric, nasty, intensely sad and lonely game. Totally underrated and overseen.

  • Wow, I'd never even heard that a Bioforge sequel was in the works. It's really disappointing that it never came to be, I really loved Bioforge.

  • what a pity. i really love bioforge and this vid made me happy and sad at the same moment

  • HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS IS AWESOME !!!

sorry for that, but i just feel it that way. Bioforge is my hearth game, i still play it over and over and still browsing the net for more info about remakes / bio +, what was the story supposed to be etc etc.

I have really never believed i would see this in any moment of my life.

    THANKS!

  • After playing bioforge I so hoped there would be a sequel. I thought nothing ever would come that would be near to it. But an intro??? wow I shocked seeing this after 10 years

  • I guess Mustaba escaped from his destiny afterall... :<

  • How did you get a copy of this? Do/did you work for Mythic Entertainment/EA Mythic? I would love to get this, especially if you still have the original movie.

  • After doing a little digging I found out that you used to work for Origin Systems.

I'd like to try, if at all possible, to get my hands on the source code for BioForge Plus. I don't have a lot of experience with programming, but do I have some, and have thought about trying to revive BioForge Plus.

I'm probably being overly ambitions, but maybe I can find people who would help out.

  • "If you've come for the source code, you'll be sorely disappointed."

  • I'm almost 100% sure that he doesn't have the source code anyway.

  • Reverse engineering? Do you think it's possible in this case?

  • I have no clue. I've never tried reverse engineering an executable before. That's why source code would be useful.

  • WHY was the game never released?

    Bioforge was incredible

  • I think the reason is mostly because BioForge did not sell well. It was a very unique game for its time and I think a lot of people didn't know what to expect from it. Also, apparently the team that worked on BioForge Plus was only given 10 weeks to create a completed game. I think they were able to create a beta, but that's all.

  • Origin was a superb game company, the best games I ever played, but their marketing policies wer awful.

  • What an awesome find WarTourist!

And what an incredible shame this game was never finished.

It seemed to be another good Origin game.

  • Any idea when this was made?

  • 1995

  • Yep! And I remind it was far in the future regarding graphics and PC requirements. At that time it required a 486 - 50MHz minimun and it was not easy not only to find as well to buy one.

  • Where did you get this?
