  • Sadly, this beautiful, poignant version will NEVER be played at the Superbowl etc

  • Possibly the most moving piece of music I've heard in the last decade.

When Laibach get it right, they make me feel every basic human/primal emotion at once.

    <3 NSK.

  • So powerful. So sad. So true.

  • Funny that almost no-one knows they're from Slovenia...

  • @kerlc123 But we do

  • This song is like one of their best songs!

    I really like it,

I just want them to make a song about Bulgaria though =w=

  • for M.M. letter! from petra

  • AryanTheurgist, what amazing, spectacular, perfect country are you from?

  • AryanTheurgist- wow you seriously need help and need to get a life.

  • Voting instead of shooting is for impotent pindick patriotard faggots.

Solzhenitsyn and Yockey. The only books you should read first.

  • Fuck America, and the fucking Brits and KIKES they rode in on... Simple as that. Kill them. All.

Russians, Muslims, anyone, I don't care. Kill all fucking Americans, NOW. They are a virus.

  • consumption of mother earth doesn't care about the color of the easter candy - she just wants it no matter how long it takes to open the wrapper

  • Ron Paul seems to be America's last hope.. as it's seen from the other side of the ocean.

  • I love this sound, definatly nails the feel of the state of my country. A period of twilight, which way will it go? Is it another roman-like empire ready to fall or will something completely different happen in this age of information and america becomes something greater and harder. I hope the later,I've always wanted this country to have a little bit of russian harcore take of life. The union of brute no nonsense strength of russia and technology of america would be awsome beyond measure.

  • Laibach citizenry or BUST.

  • america = Rome therefore... sucks.

  • @genreslur Not just America anymore. Sportplayers are sold back and forth like cattle or gladiators and have no connection with the community anymore while the public is bombarded with gambling prospects on TV while watching. Much of the world is in great debt just like it was during the last years of the Roman republic (what in fact later in the dark ages created the feudual system because the poor peasants became serfs to their rich counterparts). Much more examples you can think of to.

  • Dear Auggie56,

I noted that 5 of 6 posts below are yours, and seem quite negative.

Perhaps you would be happier paddling the ship of state instead of being such an anchor, dragging everyone down.

Then you could come here and write negative stuff about yourself and your own failures to herd cats into the light.

  • "Auggie56 has replied to your comment on Laibach / Volk - America:

@q7winq7 You are sadly miss informed. obummer is the one who has infused corporate control, into the system more that any leftist ever has. Your demorats, have joined the republican party and watered it down, ever hear of RINOS ? "

    Dear Auggie56,

If you fill that huge hole between your ears with nonsensical lyrical propaganda, you will become that, as you obviously have. . .

    You have a mind virus.

    Study Memetics.

    Get a clue.

  • fuck america

  • DEMOCRACY IS NOT GRANTED, IT IS DEMANDED.

  • @etzel33 Do you even know what democracy is ? It isn't what America is.

  • @Auggie56 it should be.... Liberty and Democracy are not opposed to each other.

  • Republicans have turned my country into a corporation.

    I want my country back.

    Who do I kill first?

  • @q7winq7 You are sadly miss informed. obummer is the one who has infused corporate control, into the system more that any leftist ever has. Your demorats, have joined the republican party and watered it down, ever hear of RINOS ?

  • ... can't listen to this without fucking crying. I love my country. I served her during Desert Storm and I can feel her bleeding... everything I believe in is falling to pieces around me. Laibach is right once again. I do vote... never avoid my civic duty. If I had not been injured in the service, I would still be in... because I love my country. But... Gods... what have we become? Pray for us... this American is so, so sorry.

  • @SteelHyaena

thx for your comittment.I hope there are more americans like you who realize whats happenning to your country. With people like you may be america will be again the great country we loved all in the world. The land of the free and braves. Good bless you and america

  • @Elfokko Gods, you're gonna have me sobbing again. This one Navy vet will do her best for you.. for America... for all of us. Thank you for your words.

  • @SteelHyaena not your fault mate

  • @trilobitefulness I know. But I'm still an American and that means I have to accept the bad with the good. I can't just sit and go 'Well, it's not me doing it.' So I take on a certain amount of the regret for the picture that other countries are seeing of us, you know? Meanwhile... I keep voting, keep writing to Senate and the Congress and do what I can to try and help get things back on track.

  • @SteelHyaena ...the whole world laughing on America...that is not the country you should feel sorry...that country has ruin by rotten capitalism...every state on earth is uniqe but U.S.A. is above all...something unknow to a human comprehension of the world...for your state remain only to implode...it is sad...

  • @SteelHyaena You are not your government. You are not your country. You are not the flag you have served under. But I wish you were.

  • @keroxene And I wish I could do more than just one vote and Occupy protests.

  • @SteelHyaena you have become a NACI NAto

    +CIa

    ----------

NACI (some people write it NAZI but it is pronounced NACI)

  • @giraldomk It's spelled Nazi because it's an abbreviation of Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, translated as the National Socialist German Workers' Party. Not Naci..

  • @SteelHyaena ...i am a soldier to and i know how you feel about your country but your country (politicians and medias) has don enough damage and evil to other countries... maybe it's not soldiers fault to fight wrong war, you are there to fight for your friend beside you... but still you are the edge of the knife that your country stabbed i to heart of many nations including my Serbian nation

  • @dejanj777 I'm aware that there have been a lot of situations we shouldn't have been involved in, believe me.

  • @SteelHyaena it's not just us, it's the whole world, all of mankind that has warped itself, but it is also worth remembering what an old brit once said, "the Americans will try the right thing, after they have tried everything else", but don't just sit on your laurels, you have to be part of it, no matter what your believe the right thing is

  • @aracaen I believe the right thing is taking every individual and every nation on their own merits. We are one species, at the end of the day.

  • @greatcornholio100

By the time you're done educating yourself and finding a job, you're a part of the system and in no position to change anything, thanks to the fear of losing what you have. And as for voting well... that's just ridiculous.

  • @mtlk22 Voting is NOT ridiculous. If everybody who sat out in 2000 had voted for Nader, Nader would be president, and Bush and Gore would be fighting over who got 21% of the vote and who got 19%.

  • @ThePunkPatriot And you can tell me that you honestly believe things would be better with Nader in charge? Look how much fuss there was about Obama, all the talks of change, better future and what did you get in the end? Nothing new, that's for sure, and for one reason only: the president is pretty much just a figurehead. He cannot go against the wishes of the ruling class, no matter what, so your choice is basically what face you want to put on your country, nothing more.

  • @ThePunkPatriot Delusional are we ?

  • Comment removed

  • If we do nothing we deserve it. God damn shame to say, I still love what we could be

  • Laibach's method is extremely simple, effective and horribly open to misinterpretation. First of all, they absorb the mannerisms of the enemy, adopting all the seductive trappings and symbols of state power, and then they exaggerate everything to the edge of parody... Next they turn their focus to highly charged issues — the West's fear of immigrants from Eastern Europe, the power games of the EU, the analogies between Western democracy and totalitarianism

  • @RodgerVanSteen Lesson: Freedom is relative.

  • @UberVersatile Thanks for the lesson, but next time be a better teacher and give me examples, for instance, you could start by answering this question: What's freedom for you?

In my view "Freedom" is one of those meaningless words....Those words that are endlessly repeated in the political arena. Words like "freedom," "democracy," and "justice".These words have been abused so long that their original meanings have been eviscerated.

  • @RodgerVanSteen Well these people limit the comment size to 500 symbols and it was much more a slightly witty general comment than a lesson and if a lesson then a lesson for all including myself. Freedom doesn't mean anything special to me. Rights bestowed upon men by other men and the will to use force to force them into agreement is more the way the world works. "Freedom" is really the call for certain rights. Whaat ever they may be is up to the individual or group of individuals.

  • @RodgerVanSteen

Co wiesz o totalitaryzmie i demokracji w Unii Europejskiej? Pogadałeś z kolesiami przy piwie?

  • @RodgerVanSteen

    "Justice, Peace" for oil :]

  • As an American I remove myself from taking responsibility for the genocide of Native Americans and the Slavery of Africans. The reason is I was not born in that generation, so by scientific law I could not participate in those evil actions. Germans need to do the same. Don't forget your history but don't let it make you feel guilty. I don't want to make anyone mad with this post. I'm just trying to empathize and show we are more alike then we realize.

  • @davesnothere26

Had we remained faithful to the old Gods, our ancestors' virtue of Industriousness would have kept us from enslaving the Black Africans. But it was Blacks who sold other Blacks to Jewish Slave-traders. Just research the names of the ship-owners. However, had we not enslaved their forefathers, we wouldn't have Crips and Bloods shooting each other over "drug turf" today.

    Let go of the Holohoax.

Laibach is the Deutsch name of NSDAP-occupied Slovenian territory. White Pride WW

  • @ThorOdinson14 Sometimes I wish that there was a god, a devil, a heaven and hell. Why? So that people like you would get there just deserves. You think the white race is so superior, just look at your average nas-car fan or watch and episode of Jerry Springer and that theory goes right out the window. Violence, rage, pain and suffering knows no racial bounds. We are all one in the same. The things that separate us are minute in the grand scheme of things.

  • @ThorOdinson14 Laibach or Ljubljana is not a territory its the capital of Slovenia believe me i should know. There's an old woman living near me she was taken to Auschwitz during ww2. Explain her what holohoax means. -.-

  • @RadioActive3313 I should clarify. I meant it was named "Laibach" while it was commandeered "territory" I'll P/M you a link regarding "Auschwitz". An unbelievable amount of photographs depicting Soviet prisoner mistreatment have been falsely attributed to German/NSDAP guards. The piles of bodies were those of typhoid fever victims. The Red Cross had access to German interment and POW camps and never documented A SINGLE death to be the result of exposure to "Zyclon-B" Cyanide

  • @ThorOdinson14 You really need an education about what went on in Germany, because your really miss informed or a Nazi sympathizer. Zyclon B was developed to kill humans, nothing more than humans. Same on you !

  • EVERY COUNTRY IS SCREWED UP/ SCREWED. Have you noticed this album makes a good point of that?

  • @whatthemeh

Thank you, I really think most people fail to realize that the point of Volk is to point out that the world has many issues, and they just over analyze specific songs and go "HURP YEAH THEY'RE RIGHT, X COUNTRY IS TERRIBLE!"

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit Actually I think the point of Volk is to point out the evils of nationalism (and maybe to a lesser extent imperialism). They have a painting of sheep on the album cover, if the lyrical content isn't blatant enough.

It's also worth noting that they only covered the national anthems of countries which have (or have had) oppressive nationalistic governments and/or international empires.

What I find funniest are all the sheepish nationalists the songs attract, though...

  • @oneillkza "volk" in slovenian means wolf (in german it means people). So there you have it sheep, volk ,, Wolf, People.

  • Nothing wrong with nationalism, just as long as you don't let it sink in too deeply. I'm not proud of the United States; government, people, and culture. Sadly it seems like most countries have terrible leadership, so there's not really anywhere to run to. Also (not saying this song isn't good enough) a dubstep remix would sound brutal. :)

  • @jmrocker and you gave me a wonderful idea!!! thanks !!!! :)))

  • How can this one have a dislike button?

  • normal people are overrated... they are "WEAK"...psychoopatik rules among US on Twilight of U$ -EWERYWHERE AMERIKA...no wandr that there is no army of people-national army? NoWo0

  • Yeah, give us a few years. Either we'll throw off the fetters of the federal government, or we'll be one big centralized totalitarian state. I'm optimistic.

  • @gunsandbullhorns I agree, not very optimistic though haha

  • @gunsandbullhorns

A big centralized totalitarian state? No thanks. The US may not be perfect in its current form, but there's still individualism at the heart, it just needs to be put back into the mentality of the people. I'd hate to see the US become a new Nazi Germany or USSR.

  • @inthecow

Yes, I agree 100%. We Americans are individualist at heart, and we have the mentality of a free people. Over the years, we've become a bit miseducated, and as a consequence we sometimes express our “American spirit” in counter-productive, offensive and ineffective ways. But we (collectively) are starting to wake-up. We're getting smarter, too. I see it all around me. The Government is scared, and they're pushing for a police state à la Nazi Germany, but we are resisting.

  • @gunsandbullhorns i really don't wanna offend anybody, but when you're talking about USA and freedom - isn't that a lil bit hypocritical? I mean, Europeans killed most of the native Americans, "arrested" them in their reservations, putting a police officer on every crossroad, arresting people for dancing, free speech and kissing (watch?v=PWeF6lwg4aY)... is THAT freedom??

  • @gunsandbullhorns btw... i AM from germany, but I think you don't know the real facts of that old nazi-germany. the german folk was suffering, longing for a strong man. And then Hitler came and gave everyone a job and the economy was starting to recover... and nobody knew his real plans. Later when he took control, everybody who was against him, got arrested and mostly killed - so... what would have you done in this situation? People even couldn't trust their own friends. Anyway, that's past.

  • @subsonic76

I don't have time to respond to everything you wrote today because I'm short on time, but I'm pretty well educated as to the "real facts" of Nazi Germany. I'm not claiming to know anywhere near as much as a person from Germany, but I have done a lot of research. The facts are the easy part. Interpreting the facts is where controversies arise.

Are you familiar with the books “What We Knew” by Johnson & Reuband and “The Nazi Doctors” by Robert Jay Lifton? I think those are good books.

  • @gunsandbullhorns sorry, I don't know US-literature of German history xDD maybe I got you wrong, sorry for that. It's just annoying me that Germany is still associated with nazis way too often. I mean, that was about 70 years ago - and like EVERY folk has skeletons in their closets. I wish you a great day - and check out Ohne Dich by Laibach (Rammstein cover - really cool song!) :) -> watch?v=lJ7-J7qxnPY

  • @gunsandbullhorns

Well, let's hope it's true. It's painful sometimes to see what America produces (looking at you, Hollywood). Not to say other nations don't have similar issues, but America seems to be growing in numbers of 'self-hating' Americans.

  • Meh the U.S. honestly doesn't seem any better or worse than any other country. It's just another super power and empire that will fade with history.

  • Here's the deal, every country has a bad rap, some have it a bit worse than others. No country is perfect, which means Europe isn't perfect, Asia isn't perfect, Africa isn't perfect and the Middle East is far from perfect.

As an American, I am proud to be an American but i also understand that some people hate me because of the fact that I am American. Which is horrible because I don't hate someone because of their nationality.

It just shows immaturity and an unwillingness to change.

  • @DizzyDarlin29 eh i dont hate you, i do tend to assume you're mildly retarded until proven otherwise though, americas seems to have the smartest aswell as the dumbest people on earth....

  • Self hating Americans are even worse than nationalistic ones. No one cares you queers.

  • i believe America is a great country with infinite potential and was designed to be such. the failure of America is the failure of mankind. capitalism and the expansion of the global market is what caused this country to fail. its something the founding fathers Left to us to deal with. and we lost the battle against our own greed.

  • Arm in arm the nations go down confederate with death, this is the one union which has proven to be lasting throughout all the ages. This is humanities tragedy to write a name for himself in the stars with no one left to read it. Greatness is least evident among those who claim it as their own.

  • Dislike from me! Fuck the America. . Becouse KOSOVO IS SERBIA! ! ! !

  • @LazicDejan Why are you murderers so obsessed with Kosovo? Do you enjoy genocide?

  • @MrSmailbegovic Where from you are? Bosnia?

  • @LazicDejan

No, my demented son. Kosovo is an independent, sovereign state of ethnic Albanians and a micro-small Serbian minority to be managed under Albanian control.... :))

  • @HybridCultures Yeah. Independent. . . Kosovo is not recognized much more state then it is. . Like Russia, China, Spain and many other, and thanks to them all. . Do you know why the Serbs are now minorities on Kosovo? Because they were expeiied or killed. . And dont calll me demented,

  • "We, children We, children, are born in Sin We are born in Sin. That is why we must let The Light, The light of God into our hearts, Children We are all Children of God, but to the whole we are Sinners We are Sinners We must let the Light, let the Love of God the Eternal Love of God into our hearts or we will Burn Burn in Hell Burn in Eternal Damnation" Is this quote taken from a movie? If yes, can anyone tell me the title of the movie, please? This song is great, but I prefer Russia and Nippon
  • this sounds like shit online, but i saw this live today and it was soooo fucking awesoome

  • I thought the Volk series was Laibach's take on the national anthems of various nations. If that's the case, I find it pretty odd that this is the take on the United States.

Unless I'm right and this was done deliberately as a message that we in the US do everything differently or our own way.

  • we need better people to run our country

  • The United States is a ticking time bomb and I don't want to be around when it explodes.

  • @CubanMatrix Good, stay far away. Cause the people are waking up, and preparing. And we won't lose

  • VOLK in Slovenian is WOLF and in German PEOPLE. Laibach said once the idea of this album is their conviction that hymns are pop songs' origins. They made it again - so they can laugh at stupid "peoples'" comments on You Tube :D

  • Star Spangled Banner and 4th of July Reprise by Boston is a lot better than this turd

  • @MrZergMan Well, go get some Natural Ice and enjoy your Boston, you wanker.

  • @spencexxx I don't like Natural Ice.. but I sure do love Boston

  • @MrZergMan Laibach isnt trying to impress america, go se what they made out of USSR hymn.

  • 423 people are jelly! :)

  • Praise the Lord and Praise the Holy Spirit to save us from your Freedom, Justice, Peace Accordance and Illusion from Arrogance and Pride from Violence and Confusion the Great Despair and Great Depression Satanic verses of your superstition the Land of Plenty... Your Bill of Rights the Enterprise the Free Will and the Unbroken One your Self-Esteem and Self-Desire your Trust in God and in Religious Fire America The end of Hystory The end of Time The end of Family The end of Crime
  • Haha what is this song about???

  • 33 people are Satanic Freemasonic scum.

  • когда нибудь мы сожжем эту страну.дотла.и зальем хлоркой .не ради мести и не со злости а для мира на планете

  • @marattto ты лицемер

  • Yes, fight the "ignorant" Americans with equally ignorant comments.

Way to accomplish fucking nothing. You think people here don't suffer for the stupidity of our own government? Or for the stupid mentalities of certain regions? We have destroyed our own nation where no others could.

I could easily paint western Europe as arrogant, Eastern Europe as dumb drunken peasants, the Mediterranean as loud lazy womanizers... I don't.

  • @NorthernAggressor

Yes, except only America invades, uses depleted uranium, has concentration camps (Guantanamo Bay for one), imposes economic sanctions etc. against small countries who can't defend themselves. There is one and only one threat to the world peace and it comes from the USA, the only country in the world which dropped TWO nuclear bombs on cities.

  • @gorazde You must know that a far greater death toll would have been suffered on both sides should the U.S. not have used nukes and instead invaded Japan with ground troops and continued fire-bombing them into surrender, right? And in terms of "concentration camps", Gitmo is nothing compared to the real con. camps in China Cuba etc that actually torture. You just have a bias against America that is founded on lies and anti-US propaganda.

  • @Rammagith True, while it's tough to compare gitmo to a concentration camp, the simple fact is we are pissing on our constitution with it. These men are being held indefinitely without due justice and without evidence on the simple fact that they "could be a danger to America". It's disgusting.

  • @drakionx I understand what you mean by that, but simply put those in gitmo are there for a legitimate reason and unlike the other countries I was referring to do not send political dissidents or domestic opposition to it. Legitimate reasons as in having valuable intel, being part of a terrorist org, or killing Americans or innocents etc. Due justice with this dim-witted administration can only make things worse...they've proven themselves incompetent enough. It's all a publicity/political stunt

  • @Rammagith Guantanamo is nothing? Keep telling yourself that.

  • @Semordnilaps I do. Even our half wit leftist president believed gitmo was evil, inhumane, savage, and wrong, and promised to close it by the first year of his presidency. Of course he didnt because even he realized the peaceful muslims there aren't ready to face the outside world yet, and little people like me need to keep subsidizing their health care and halal meals until they learn not to play with explosive in public. It's not very safe, you know?

  • @Rammagith So you're a racist. How predictable. You do know that most of those held prisoner in guantanamo have in fact not been convicted of any crimes and indeed there are som people that have been released already. I am sorry but I don't believe the U.S has any right to have prisoncamps and hold people without trying them in court, accusing them of aiding terrorists. U.S foreign policy is not very safe you know?

  • @Semordnilaps Racist? You must be a leftist because they are the only people on the planet who use that word against people who disagree with their world view in a ridiculous attempt to label them, but it wont work with me. Although I've never met a Pakistani I ever liked but eh another story. Yeah our foreign policy is terrible and we wasted trillions of dollars and thousands of lives because of my gov's meddling into world affairs only to fuck everything up instead. Its a sad fact

  • @gorazde "Yes, except only America invades"

Yeah, bull fucking shit right there. Like when Germany invaded France, Belgium, Norway, the USSR, etc? When the Romans invaded and colonized half of Europe, North Africa, Palestine, etc. When the USSR invaded Afghanistan, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary? But do I hold all Germans, Italians, or Russians responsible for those things? No. You need to open a history book if you think "only America invades".

  • As Ramstein said once in song "America" : "Fuck you is the magic word!"

  • USA is pure EVIL !!!! i dislike that country .......its cursed eversince stupid spanish, english and other retartds overtook it with an excesive force , killing indians and enslaving the whole continent !!!!! This stupid country will doom us all !!!! just wait and see ;)

  • @SlovenianJunkie is ok if you dislike it, so be sure to stay out of it. and maybe you could convince a few thousand Mexican people to stay home and fix that wonderful country then they would not feel the need to crawl under the fence and leach of of us. ... yes yes we are just ignorant fools I know and all other countries are awesome . WOW .......... you are a genius...

  • @tebbo56 is this even worth being called a comeback ?

  • @tebbo56 you dont need to be a genious to see whos a dumb fuck living in an illusional country who offers only what people LIKE not what they realy NEED :D so yeah go on ;) and who the fuck cares about mexicans ....there is whole world endangered by one stupid shitfucks who think they can make descisions for the whole world =)

  • look at what this nation become. I personaly could not look one of the founders in the eye

  • @jonathan85ize I am truly amazed at what America has become. From a country that has abolished slavery, created equal rights for women, and still now struggling with equal rights for its LGBTQIA citizens; I am truly proud to be an American. If I were to meet a founding father, I would undoubtedly be in the presence of man who founded the greatest nation in the world.

  • @JandusValentine Agreed, but now we have a president, trying to destroy the worlds last hope of freedom. The last country that is willing to confront nation bullies. Truly we are in the darkest of times.

  • Visit avsecbostjan blogspot com or avsecbostjan areavoices com to understand why whole world looks at you as you are psychotic(you are psychotic and insane crazy). You are danger to yourself and as such the rest of the world can't consider you as safe nation.

  • The end of liberty!

  • most of you are unaware and not thankful of how much America influences our culture and the whole world. There will always be shade when the sun shines.... but who wants America to replaced by some strange religious or economic power!?

  • @pd5987 Oh dear lord the irony. The fact that you posted this shows you CLEARLY didn't understand the gist of the song or what most people are talking about here. The basic idea is that America IS a "strange religious or/and economic power". There are some places where it's ok but by and large in almost every city in America if you aren't a god-fearing Christian you at least get strange looks, and at worst get ousted. It is the same for how we deal with foreigners, our overwhelming zealotry.

  • @Goldenkitten1

You are american but with a bit of distance i can tell you that its not all bad. I have no idea how it is to live in america but I am very glad that america is still in power.

I think we are both talking about different things.... I am talking about how my country benefits from american culture and i think you are more concerned about living there.

  • @Goldenkitten1

You have either been in BFE America or are just lying through your teeth.

Is the US perfect? FUCK NO. But we're not some sort of ultra religious, strange, bizarre, and unknowable cabal of evil people either. I'm a deist, I don't get strange looks. I suppose if you stood up in the middle of a town and screamed "I raped Jesus Christ to dead." You'd probably get some weird looks. We value hard work and a willingness to be American.

  • @EconomistsCookbook Oh please. About the only place where religion isn't the crutch of the country are the northermost states and parts of the eastern coast. Much, especially in the south (there's a reason it's called the bible-belt you know, have you ever been there? When driving through towns me and my friends have sometimes played "Count the churches", I've counted upwards of 5 in a one mile stretch before) rely on it as their sole purpose for existence. You seem to be assuming I'm viewing

  • @EconomistsCookbook America solely in a negative light. I'm not. There are good things about the country, just as there are good and bad things about EVERY country. But denying that we're ridiculously religious and rely on it to run the country makes you the one whose firmly "lying through your teeth"...or just ignorant.

  • @Goldenkitten1

I don't know where you count VA, but I kinda live in the bible belt and last time I checked we didn't have any "burn the witch meetings around here. But to each their own. To be quite honest I may not buy their religion but I know some wonderful people that are regulars at one church or another.

I suggest you put down Dawkins and pick up both other critiques of religion and their defenders. It makes for a more well-rounded philosophical position. :)

  • @EconomistsCookbook I like how you seem to be ignoring my positive comments. Nor did I ever say all Americans are sociopathic religious nutjobs that lynch unbelievers. They're out there for sure, but I never said that was all there was. What I did state was that religion (Christianity in this case) is excessively prominent in America and widely used to run its supposedely "freedom of choice" government.

Starting to wonder what you're doing on this video considering this is what it's about...

  • @pd5987 Is why half the world looks at us as if we're as psychotic as the people we try to fight.

  • Why Amerika?

    Fuck!.

    Amerika the great dictaror!.

  • I adore this song. I myself am an American but I disagree with...and somewhat hate everything about this country. I find myself more of a cultural European. I can understand how people want to condemn every American as hypocrites and uncultured swine but I'm certainly not one of them.

If you're a cultured American, with respect for every country, for every person, and disagree with the SUITS that actually run this country...

    ...give this a thumbs up.

  • @dmguitarist99 haha there are four cultured americans :P

  • @dmguitarist99 I am Russian myself. I was born in Russia, lived in Europe, (West and East) and now i am living in USA, and proudly serve in US Army, and even though i do disagree with some of the American policies, i still think US is the best country on earth.

  • @dmguitarist99 people are not all the same. everyone is different. i'm happy that there's people there that don't just blindly listen and do all that the government says

  • @dmguitarist99 yes, every person is different. i'm glad that there are people there who don't just blindly listen and do whatever the government says to them. there are just too few of people who think with their own head and they are too weak :/

  • @dmguitarist99 God, are you a douche. A "cultural European"? Go fuck yourself.

  • @spencexxx

It's good to know you spend your days trolling a Laibach video you faggot, I was born in Sweden so go lick a bag of dicks.

  • @dmguitarist99 Wow what you said there almost brings tears to my eyes. I a have been screaming that for years glad to see other people have and are realizing it too and before I us to to feel bad about saying it being a american, But now I realize every day how right I am in doing so.

  • @dmguitarist99 I would say, that American culture is definitely based on European culture. Everyone of Americans are - strictly considered - immigrants. It looks like, that America is a grown up child of Europe which should sometimes call its parents...

  • @dmguitarist99 very wel said! come live in Europe!!! ;D

  • @dmguitarist99 And you call yourself an American. You "somewhat" hate everything about this country? You disgust me. It is a true statement that nothing is ever perfect, and so too America, but I will tell you something. This country is by far one of the greatest nations of the world; if not the greatest. In no other country can you find the same amount of freedom that America grants to all of her citizens. Be fucking grateful that you are an American, even with your bitchy attitude.

  • @JandusValentine

Who fucking spoonfed you this horseshit? It's good to know that some people agree with me and aren't lulled into a false security of your Stars and Stripes. Your country is run by nothing but a bunch of whores and crooks who swipe your people blind and dupe you into the mindset of thinking that you're free. Crack open that mind of yours and look around, from George Carlin, It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.

  • @dmguitarist99 Paranoia; noun. a mental disorder characterized by systematized delusions and the projection of personal conflicts, which are ascribed to the supposed hostility of others, sometimes progressing to disturbances of consciousness and aggressive acts believed to be performed in self-defense or as a mission.

  • @JandusValentine What exactly is this "freedom" you speak of? I'm not trying to start a fidgt, but would just like to know.

  • @jerman2003 Freedom is the state of being free, or "the exemption from external control, influence, interference, and/or regulation". Specifically I referred to a list of United States federal legislation; the Bill of Rights, Indian Citizenship Act of 1924, Civil Rights Act of 1875, the Nineteenth Amendment, and currently the repeal of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell (DADT) policy of the United States Government. All of these affect freedom for those who are citizens of the United States of America.

  • @JandusValentine Well, for your information there are many other countries that have freedom and some are better off then the US on certain things. I live in Canada, we have plenty of freedom, more so then you do in my opinion.

  • can i get an amen?

    ameeeeeeen

  • Boris Benko is so amazing ... I miss silence :)!

  • The western ideology with it´s non-ethic, egoism-individuality and technocratic ideas has failed our world... Blood is on everywhones hands in this globally connected and bound times and politics...

Americas greatest dellusion is christian fanatism!

  • @benutzer29915022 Your one sad individual.

  • The rest of the world is not immune to the allegations or ideas put fourth by this song towards America. They're simply not at the forefront of other specific nations, right now. They have their own flaws and B.S. to deal with. ... Things just are ... Just fill your hearts with love - wherever you are, and if you can avoid picking up arms against your fellow man, no matter how different they may be - lay your swords to rest. Work together. Synergy. Freedom.

  • @sketch2k Yah of course. But then other songs hit on each countries own little issues, each son on Volk deals with a certain countries issues and ideologies. This just happens to be Americas.
