  • If she's doing an active flex - than isn't it contract-relax? While hold-relax is a passive technique?

  • @theguywithin Hold relax is nothing but tiring the muscle before you strech. He wants to strech the quards so he did tire it and make the girl flex the knee afterwards. I feel he is correct.

  • This looks more like Contract relax since it used the Antagonists (although she didnt contract 100% max)

  • I think your explanation for Hold Relax is a bit convoluted; the purpose of agonist-antagonist muscle activation is to utilize the GTO to relaxe an agonist after a sustained contraction has been applied to it, not to fatigue the agonist through muscular contractions.
