  • You need some plants in there, they really prefer to spawn in the roots.

  • @farber207 I tried that but the comets broke all the stems of the lilies when they spawned again :( Pity as the plants were doing really great. I've been thinking of taking out all the comets and just having Koi in there for some time now, if I do I'll be putting new plants back in :D Thanks for watching and your comment ;)

  • @farber207 All the fully grown comets (14) etc have now gone to a pet shop yesterday that I know who supplies to other pond owners :D I'm only going to keep Koi in there from now on and plants are going back in next week ! DoH! there's still 1 weather loch in there somewhere :D

  • hey cool video. Never knew that comets breed like Koi. Let me know when eggs start to hatch. I'm still waiting for my babies to start showing their colors.

    Loved the FAT mamma.

Also dude that camera makes alotta noise! lol

  • Yeah man,my camera is a little 2.5" digital thingy & to be honest my mobile takes better footage LOL.I had 4 females spawning(I still have to upload Day3)but the biggest pure white female sarasa comet did not spawn this time for some reason-and she is the 2nd biggest comet in the pond. To be honest, its been a stressful 3 days with all the splashing etc, I didnt get much sleep as I thought they could get kicked out of the pond. Even my dog was scratching on my door because off all the noise LOL
