Stuff from Drumline, no technical merit, and some of it look like the presentation scene from Coming To America. I REALLY was expecting more.

I dont kow why people say A&T have similar candences. i dont see it. and eventhough SCSU has a southern swagg i feel they are a lot better than A&T and im not just saying that becasue i am fan but they are a lot more technical and have a lot more discipline. and i go to school at NCAT. but hey we will see Friday because SCSU is comming to NCAT for battle of the border

Unbiased here. Clean Funky & ORIGINAL!. Typical southern swagger! Very, BCC, A&T, MBC like as another said. Almost hard to tell them all apart. Espescially since A&T and BBI have similiar cadences. However, as usual, too much playing at times, whole show seeemed like one big long cadence and everthing was fast! No tempo changes on the chops and cant hear how clean it really is. Not saying its not clean, but show off tem snares, dont hide them with overplaying toms & basses and fast tempo

Speaking from an unbiased perspective, I must say that this one is not easily called. SCSU's percussion section shocked me! They have the typical southern swagger to their line but the show was clean. You cant find that in most southern sections outside of BCU and occasionally A&T(on a good day) Maybe MBC in its hay day. Don't sleep on JCSU. They were on the come up last time I seen them two years ago. MDF$ came with its reliable clean but surprisingly entertaining show. I would call it a draw

@JeanLondondia that year we use that rcc lick we thought it was sweet and dat it also would be sweet to put our lil twist on it,.....but as far as this year all our cadences and solos were created by our players and again this year we wanted to show our versatility by dancing and grooving a lil more than usually for us cuz last year we felt the cadences we played against bbi was too difficult for the crowd to follow we chopped too hard so this we added more entertainment to go along wit the chop

I think this was a great show for BBI. You all have come a loooong way. You guys have the potential to be the best, but until you all stop playing 2's and 4's during songs MDFS STILL GONE BE THE BEST! Check the music folder from a member of MD and you'll see why we're still #1. Everyone else just knows cadences, but we know MUSIC!!!!!
