i made a little mistake before watching your video,,, when i downloaded the EBOOT file i did not change the name to 500 and copied it to the UPDATE folder,,,

what i did was just copy pasted the EBOOT file to PSP/GAME folder, and i replaced the original file i had with the updated one,,

so now i did what you said in the video but when i open the update from my psp it says (( this game cannot be started, data is curropted ))

For any future hacking, backup your save data, or all your psp stuff to your computer first, I spent FIVE HOURS the other night trying to unbrick my psp because I did something wrong (finally got it fixed back to 4.01m33-2 though) Charging my battery atm so I can do this update, where he named that file 500.PBP, when it copies, my computer copied the file as 500.PBP.PBP which made it say "500.PBP could not be found download from internet?" so I renamed that file just 500 and I think it'll work..

That's a start lol, before my psp got MOSTLY, not entirely bricked last night, my system software was "Hacked PSP" and my MAC Address was "unknown" it sucked lol, like I said, with a MMS and pandora battery, its simple to fix if you know what you're doing, or if you find a good Tutorial like Cosmoboy's :) when I get done with this, I think I'm gonna try to get to 5.00m33-6 so I can play FFIX :D FF7 works on 4.01m33 if you like that game :)

For people getting errors about your PSP not being able to read iso or cso files, you need to fix it through recovery mode. To get to recovery mode do a hard reset on your PSP (hold the power button up until it shuts down), then hold down the R trigger and turn on your PSP again. Go into configuration, go to UMD Mode: and set it to Sony NP9660 (for most games) or try other settings if that one doesn't work for that game. The default setting is UMD required, so it won't boot the BACK-UP files.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce only works on the m33 UMD setting. So just try them all if you have problems.

P.S. If your PSP just says "5.00" in your system info, and not "5.00 m33", then you will have to downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade back to custom firmware, because it didn't work.

Well I bumped into a problem with the update when I started it it would shut down the psp after about 10 seconds on the white psp loading screen, I looked into my settings and found out that my homebrew folder was set wrong when I changed it to my firmware kernel the update loaded just fine!!! Just thought this could help people :)
