The problem is not about being a flat screen or not, about new or old, or about small or big screen... its about the resolution, these old TVs have a lower resolution therefore the PS3 wont be able to transmit all of its graphical capabilities because the TV wont be able to process the image in high resolution it means a lower detail level.

Look up how to get an internet browser on your xbox 360 on youtube. their's about 7-8 videos explaining how to. You can also get instructions on google. It only takes about 15 minutes to do. But you need windows media center on your computer to do it. I think you can download, not sure though, windows media center came with my computer.
