It's easy to imagine him getting ko'ed by a much stronger, much harder hitting Marciano. Charley Goldman believed that Rocky would've stopped Louis quicker in Louis' heyday, because Louis would've made the mistake of coming at Rocky, instead of backing up, like he did in their fight. It was the 1st time Louis ever backed up against anyone!
marciano was great but joe louis was out of his prime in this fight its to bad what happened to the brown bomber.. had no choice but to fight off his debt
