hmmmm ever since the writer's strike they've been doing a half assed job. just compare the first brilliant 10 eps of season 4 to the ones that followed after the strike. season 5 was just awful. boring character plots that went no where, a non existent mystery, and cheap story lines designed to regain the audience (the highly publicized lesbian kiss) - just a wreck.

Season 6 cannot be any worse, so i'm looking forward to it :)
