You are commercializing my history. Please stop posting these videos of worshiping my Ancestors and Gods on youtube. If you worship Osun, Sango, Oya, Ogun, or the overall Orumila, worship them at your own pace and stop posting the video here I'm begging. It's my History, my heritage and my pride. Stop commercializing or advertising it. You are ridiculing my Heritage with all these practices. Come to Nigeria and learn properly stop making it look like a stage play.
The folks in South and Latin America only practice the easy aspects. Trust me, it deeper than making it look like a cult. People do extra ordinary stuffs with these powers which no one in Latin America can do. Not trying to ridicule the worshipers in other part of the world but the spiritual aspect which many westerners consider to be barbaric. Don't say what you don't know buddy. hardly any adult in Nigeria that hasn't practiced these spiritual aspects. Nigeria is 150m and millions uncounted.
There is nothing to debate on. You guys already painted Osun as a blue eyed blond chick anyways. Same way some Cubans think the Orishas were cuban Gods. Why lay claims on other people's history? Same way some whitey thinks we Africans that worship Ifa don't know shit about it and that it needs to be westernized. No reason to debate here!!!!
I think, we all people - yellow, black, white, red - whoever have to unite one day and live in peace and unity! Share our experience, share our practices and just live happy. What do you think? ;)
Hee! Thats wonderful! I have an idea to learn portuguese. And i have passion to Ife Oricha. Although i am white russian. We, whites also are staring slowly to return to our roots - russian old paganism, scandinavian pantheon, Baltic states pantheon, ireland and UK has its own native pagan communities (just they are a bit more colsed)...
ACHE!How Beautiful! the more I watch these videos the more robbed I feel as a black person who was not raised in the pantheons of Yoruba Orisha. Unfortunately I was born into a protestant nation and we did not have the saints to pair the dieties with our orishas so we in my country are europeanized blacks, rooted in christianty which makes no sense.
This is who I am this is what I LOVE!I am on my journey to building my ache and I thank you for posting these marvelous peices, they are helpful
I have so much respect for what you are doing , for we walk the same path to the reconnection of our true African roots. I am African American on the constant battle against the white supremacist ideals forced into my mind from child birth. The battle is a tuff one, but it eases my heart to know that I am not the only one fighting it. Keep educating yourself and stop for no one! :)

That's the way it evolved in Brazil. There are more Orisha Practitioners in Brazil and Latin America then in Nigeria.
