  • The lyrics are good. Deep, painful, beautiful. Check out CYNE as well if you havent. Start with Haze.

  • Anyone know what they're talking about.........?

  • @Dooptasticness I think it's pretty obvious but if you can't guess by the lyrics Big Pooh is rapping about how his father wasn't there and trying to call him, and Phonte is rapping about how he hated his dad for not being there for a long time but then he realizes the same thing is happening to him and his child.

  • Beautiful.

  • The realness of this track is amazing!! It's so raw and real! From his relationship with his dad to his relationship with the mother of his child and the effect its having on his role as a father. It's just amazing how real it is and pleasing to the ear at the same time! Little brother is the business!

  • I think im in love; the sample is redicoulous!!!

  • Real life experiences. From the heart. Absolute poetry. Little brother is by far the elder brother in hip hop!!!! Big ups!!

  • its dem carolina boys on the takeover JCole little brother, 9th. Its real hip hop

  • Man this song is my life right now with everything going on between me and my father and my child. I cry everytime I hear this....

  • @tdwalk06 you aint the only one dawg.

  • @tdwalk06 i feel u bro

  • yup. minstrel show is a classic cd

  • hip hop (whats left of it) Classic

  • @HydroAlexis you dont consider The Cool Kids, Drake, B.o.B, or Kid Cudi Hip Hop? Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane can be consider rap music.........how ever that works......

  • @HydroAlexis i second that!

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoh shit!!!!!!!!!!! You know how long ive been looking for this song???? One of the most heartfelt songs in hip hop history!!! OMG, I cried when i first heard this song. This song represents the males perspective on a broken relationship with women AND the effect a father has when he leaves a child searching for answers. Fuckin classic!!!!!

  • Little Brother, reppin NC hard as fuck. Damn I miss 9th.

  • one of my favorite tracks from this album ... brilliant!

  • Peace to the fathers out there.

  • 9th is a wonder...them keys at the end are mouth watering

  • I memba 1 o dey trcks wen they said sommet like whoever pays them wont take any of the black intelligence that they use on their verbs. i do the same thing myself but dont bother to go commercial cosa trubs 2 day like uk bnp-d racist area i live in n shit. Lb always got good shit to say. kmt

  • Why are they not mainstream?????would rather listen to this anyday verses what's out there now!!!

  • A men ta that, I love Little Brother... I feel like them, Slum Village, Pac Div, etc. should get way more radio time... Dwele, Talib, Hi Tek, D Brockington, etc. the list goes on

  • @mindset COSIGN!!!!

  • thy are probably not main stream because their lyrics take a little more thought and coordination than lyrics like, "kill a nigga, my nigga! bussa nigga my muthafuckin nigga! get hi, snork coke nigga, nigga, nigga!" or "look at my chain, look at my rims, look how important i am because of my WHEELS! I am such a big shot because of my wheels, my watch and my chain," although no of it grows any wealth...lol!

  • @jblackmel hahahaha truer words have never been spoken

  • @jblackmel

i bet if they dropped sooner then they did (like maybe around 01 or so) they would've had more play. cuz right after they dropped there first album, soon all that snappin and other dancin started and it was like a vacuum. then Wayne dropped his stuff and that was it. everything else was Jay Z or Kanye. Common was able to creep in there but still, it was saturated with this crap we have now. IMO of course

  • @jblackmel

    Yeah nigga, snork coke.....

  • @jblackmel you forgot about "fuck a book nigga, look at my dance"

  • this album was slept on HARD!!!!!!!!

  • amoo ese tema bkn q lo ayan subido pork el unico q habia encontrad lo canta una lady

    saludosss

  • i kan relate to dat!!!!!!!luv lb!!!!

  • love little brother
