By freezing this video, the bike which makes those first two runs past the camera appears to have a side muffler visible, seen in that gap between tail section and rear wheel...it is almost certainly an Aprilia RSV4.
GP bikes are V4 configuration, same as the RSV4 so they should sound very similar. the RSV4 has slightly more displacement tho, 1000cc vs 800cc on the GP bikes.
Yeah I know they're the same configuration that's why I think someone could get them confused. Ducati tests at Mugello as well and their test bikes are black as well.
Listening to it more it doesn't quite sound as shrill as the GP8. I guess we'll have to wait until Qatar next year to hear the Aprilia.

I think the last bike heard is the Ducati GP machine, louder and higher-revving. The Aprilia does sound fantastic though!

Hmm, that sounds more like a GP bike than a superbike. Is it possible this is the Ducati GP8 testing at Mugello and not the RSV4?

Oh ok.. yea it could be the Ducati bike, aren't they testing the GP9 now?
I'm looking forward to the RSV4 and BMW's S1000RR which looks like it'll spank the Japanese if the rumors out so far are true.

Believe me guys, this is definitly the RSV4. If it sounds similar to any GP bike, it would be the Yamaha and Kawasaki. Defo not a Duke.

The bike at the end however is the Ducati GP bike.
