I remember Zoog Disney! By the way, do you remember the name of the show on Zoog where a bunch of kids were given random objects and asked to make a show out of them before the timer ran out? Also, what music did you use for this video?
@Erica9245: Umm...most of the cartoons (ex: Recess and Weekenders) debuted as part of One Saturday Morning (now ABC Kids, if it still exists, anymore) & Sister Sister and Boy Meets World were both part of The WB block shown after Kid's WB (Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid, Histeria, et al) had wrapped up its programing schedule, all before The WB was phased out entirely for The CW.
It's a shame that DC doesn't have a show on now that's comparable to "Smart Guy". I love the Mowry's. And "The Color of Friendship" was amazing. I wish Disney would put more effort into their shows/movies to put forth a real message. Instead, we get the HM movie, where she is torn between being a "normal kid" and a pop star. Yeah, cause everyone has to make THAT decision in their lifetime.... Hell, even Pepper Ann was deeper than the crap they have on now.

Okay, this is going to be super vague but I remember some old mascots or at least what I thought were mascots as they came on during commercial breaks but they were animated robot things I believe. Toon Disney was the way to go though, although I'm disappointed that Jetix is no longer shown, though I'm glad some of the shows that were aired on the Jetix lineup survived
These Disney shows were so well rounded, and actually interesting. God bless the 90s...Zoog Disney was a big high point for disney channel, now they got rid of that and toon disney, seriously they might as well and get rid of Disney XD now. I'm glad I atleast I got to be a kid when DisneyChannel was worth somethin.

Well, I'm right behind you at 23. I sorely miss the old Disney and kick myself sometimes for not watching it more frequently when it was still on. But speaking of older TV, one thing I also miss is MonsterFest on AMC. They used to play all the classics in glorious black and white like Dracula, The Mummy and Frankenstein. They don't anymore and whats worse is they cut the Classics out of American Movie Classics. They were playing "Super Troopers" on AMC not too long ago. WTF?

Omg I used to love to watch some of those shows. :] I was only six at the time, though, so I don't remember them well. The "new" Disney Channel sucks in comparison. All of the ucrrent Disney Channel shows are all the same, the only difference is that they have different settings. I miss the old Disney, sometimes I really wish they would bring back some of the old shows.
Oh my god!! I miss this. Such simpler times. Everything on there was great minus the Weekenders. Lame replacement for Recess. Disney actually had some pretty good made for T.V. movies. Like Stepsister from Plant Weird or Luck of the Irish. Good times.

These Disney shows were so well rounded, and actually interesting. God bless the 90s...Zoog Disney was a big high point for disney channel, now they got rid of that and toon disney, seriously they might as well and get rid of Disney XD now. I'm glad I atleast I got to be a kid when DisneyChannel was worth somethin.

thank u so much for putting this on youtube. i really miss this stuff even tho i was only about 5 or 6 when most of it came out. i still remember everything. i remember when all the zoogs grew up and everything. now a days disney channel is trash. the movies suck i dont even feel lik watchin them. the shows have no point either. its corrupted.

I really miss zoog disney. I grew up with this and it is a shame to see what has happened to the channel. Anyone who thinks hannah montana is acceptable should get help because compared to this, it is idiotic at best. Zoog disney, that whole generation gave a great message backed with good tv and movies. The disney channel original movies has a message or lesson and now they are meaningless and products of things like hsm. It is a shame when we used to have movies like tru confessions, amazing.

man I miss Zoog disney. I remember when they did an original movie every 2-3 months. The color of friendship was one of the best they did. It's sad that when I turn ti disney now, all I see is live action shows targeted to tweens-teens. What happened to the cartoons?
Oh yeah playhouse disney is still around. wait, what is that? The cartoons start around midnight? man, it's just. Shame.

I'm partial to Zoog Disney because I grew up with it, but the generation before us was probably saying the same about Lizzie Mcguire and Brink.
I wish Disney went back to Vault Disney all the time. There used to be cartoons, adventure films, dramas and documentaries. It used to really be for the entire family. Now it's only for adolescent, know-it-all tweenies. And that started with Zoog Disney. It's a snowball effect. How long before the crap on Disney catches up to Law and Order SVU? lol

Disney stopped being about "Family entertainment" and is now soley for the "tween" audience. I miss Disney Channel just like I miss Nickelodeon, Cartoon network and even MTV (MTV used to be one of the most controversial stations on TV, none of this jersey shore garbage.. just pure, raw music)

Well, I'm right behind you at 23. I sorely miss the old Disney and kick myself sometimes for not watching it more frequently when it was still on. But speaking of older TV, one thing I also miss is MonsterFest on AMC. They used to play all the classics in glorious black and white like Dracula, The Mummy and Frankenstein. They don't anymore and whats worse is they cut the Classics out of American Movie Classics. They were playing "Super Troopers" on AMC not too long ago. WTF?

I want my childhood back... and I feel horrible for kids growing up these days. They have poppy princess crap, like Hannah Montana, where the show is all about lying to your parents to get what you want, looking good, lying some more, etc. I can't stand new DC.

Omg I used to love to watch some of those shows. :] I was only six at the time, though, so I don't remember them well. The "new" Disney Channel sucks in comparison. All of the ucrrent Disney Channel shows are all the same, the only difference is that they have different settings. I miss the old Disney, sometimes I really wish they would bring back some of the old shows.

Oh my god!! I miss this. Such simpler times. Everything on there was great minus the Weekenders. Lame replacement for Recess. Disney actually had some pretty good made for T.V. movies. Like Stepsister from Plant Weird or Luck of the Irish. Good times.
