"The music inspires you to die." LOL. It sure does, mate.
I remember this insanely difficult game. The only way I completed it was by typing in a poke from the Silver Club newsletter. Ahh the good ol Silver Club, eh? Memories ... what mammaries (as Nick Abbot used to say, back in days when he was funny). Nostalgia overload.
any chance of 'hunchback' or 'buck rogers in the 25th century?' they sucked balls proper. did you do 'wheelie?'
cheers
may i recommend instead of an emulator you use the real thing and finish every video with pulling the kempston joystick interface out the back in traditional speccy fashion ?
Methinks that would destroy my Spectrum! I remember when I was about 7 years old I went round my mate's house who had a C64. Couldn't get the joystick to work so I pulled it out during the game whilst my mate weren't looking. The whole computer locked up and stopped working. Fortunately for me it was time to go home at that moment so I never found out if the C64 was just temporarily buggered or completely buggered! He should have had a Spectrum!
Lol at people still asking me this question 200+ videos in!! I am quite often somewhat 'merry' during the review process. This may have been one such occasion. I did review a number of games towards the end of 2008 where I'd not been drinking, but I don't know which ones off the top of my head, or if I've uploaded any of them.
To be honest I usually can't be arsed to play these old games until I can't see the screen properly. They become slightly more tolerable at that stage.
Hard to believe they were allowed to publish these games ^^, hard to believe you even bothered to play it, especially if you were drowning the sorrows.
I have no idea. Who knows what was going on at the time I reviewed this game. Hopefully my then girlfriend was getting slapped by the taxi-driver. Though it could have been one of a few people texting me at the time!
The music is intense, it is by Rimsky-Korsakov.

I though it was going to be highly rated by some of those speeches you made. It ended up being Rated S for Shit in the end though.
