That's one sweet find! The only thing I have that even comes close is finding a 1991 Imperial Soldier minifig in a pile of loose minifigs one of the vendors at this year's BrickFair was selling.

...I DO have an original Ice Planet 2002 Figure from an old set that I bought when they first came out (The Blizzard Blazer... the rest of the set, aside from the Ice Saw and skis has been lost, sadly).
