Where is your gloves. At that velocity plastic that thin can penetrate through glass wood skin and more. Most angled diy grinders spin over 30,000 r.p.m.s think about r.p.m.s x weigh't ratio though's small plastic piece's are traveling over 100 mph in every direction

I have this DC motor to an old RC car and it screams when run of 12VDC its a 7.2 volt motor and it kicks CD ass. I used some electrical tape around the gear to hold the CD on. it has an on off switch too.

To quote the cdparanoia FAQ: Philips determined 15 years ago that the CD could only be spun up to 50-60x until the physical CD (made of polycarbonate) would deform from centripetal force badly enough to become unreadable.

The plastic tried to rip itself apart in every direction, because of "centrifugal force" (yes, I'm aware it doesn't exist).
