People sometimes wonder.how do sellers have such great feedback scores? its like a rateing site. you rate me good i'll rate you.since i was new to ebay i didnt want to write terrible feedback.but some i had to.. but its still depressing..i ordered an 09 issay sum,& recieved the 08 bottle :(
@glory7in7silence I think you are safe if the seller is Amazon because they get their merchandise from the actual manufacturer. It's just some of the sellers that are either individuals or those that claim they are perfume stores that you have to worry about. It is just as risky as buying them on Ebay or some flea market where fake stuff is sold.
If it's not Macy's, Sephora or Nordstrom I don't trust it...I'm sure there are a few I'm forgetting but those are the only places I know without any doubt I'm getting 100% authentic
You should go to the department store and compair what you purchased to the store brand and see if its fake. Because they have open bottles all the time that you can compair them too.
Oh shit man, those are definitely fake. My bottles for the the Givenchy colognes are different. First of all both bottle have like a rubberized plastic on the sides and second the spray cap is nothing like that. It cap itself is like one piece of plastic with rubber on the top part...

frangrance . net are scams as well i bought aquolina pink sugar, they had a picture of the real deal and when i received it ,it smelled cheap was dark orange as well as the pepper logo was the wrong way instead of being upside down it was right side up

I have an original 212 men. There is a 4 digit engraved code on the bottom of the box and that should match on the bottle's neck near the sprayer, engraved in the bottle itself.
@hbkryme It depends. There are few stores that sells genuine/authentic stuff. Sometimes Amazon itself sells old stock, NOT FAKE, just old stuff. So you do your research before you buy on Amazon. When I say original, there are certain identifications. For eg, there is a common practice to check the serial # in the box and bottle.
Original form means you can smell the sprayer, if it has not been used, you won't smell anything on the sprayer. You will smell it only after u use the fragrance atleast once.

I bought two fragrancs from "Brandnameliquidators" on eBay, the perfume was so /- nasty and made me so sick, sent it back and they didn't refund me.. eBay needs to do somethng about this, perhaps report this to the NY SOS and Atty Gen.
My friend, these are nothing but 100% counterfeit colons you bought. You would never get big bottle of high end designer fragrances for the price you paid. They are counterfeit and smuggled from china and would cost $5 to buy wholesale from china town in ny. nothing is impossible for Chinese to counterfeit. People are making millions doing this everywhere. I know so many people selling counterfeit and even complained to law enforcement but I guess they don't care.
Also to see if your bottle is a fake, look on the bottle for the serial number. If it doesn't have one, it probably is fake. It is most of the time located underneath the bottle itself (sometimes as a sticker like mine has).
when I bought my 212 I think on the bottom there was a little hole in the plastic and you could see through the bottle. It didnt have that thing at the top either. so thats something to look for if you want a real one. and if you dont want the fake ones, ill take them from you :)
Check the neck of the 212 men bottle for the serial code, it should be somewhere there, its quiet hard to see but if it's not there then yeah it is a fake.
I hope you they do give you your money back. It would be soooo bad if they just took the fragrances back....repackaged them....then sold them to someone else and got their money aswell.
Oh also the play intense is one of the longest lasting colognes on the market. Fragrances usually suck on me as far as longevity goes, but I sprayed Play Intense on at Macy's and no joke 24hrs later I could still smell it on my wrist. Thats never happened b4, maybe w/ le male but i dont think so. YOu should def be getting at least 8hrs. Did you get your money back? I would leave negative feedback anyways bc no one looks at the + feedback. I'd say " You go to hell!, you go to hell and you die"!!
I have the 212 bottle and it DOES have the stamp on the bottom (embossed, legit) but the cap doesn't have that wierd raised ring that yours does. My 212 last forever and I love the smell. This vid made me jump up and get my bottle and do a 10 pt examination on it lol. I have the tester but its the same shiz, it just says tester on the side, no biggie. I got mine for $37 (3.4oz) so I'm happy. I suggest scented monkey(better prices) or fragrancenet so you can be sure your getting legit bottles
