I have a Coonie as well, only not so big. Her dad was pure Maine Coon, and the mom was a DSH. Everything about my Coonie is that of her dad, except her size, head and ears. Named her Maizy, and boy is she cute!!

We had a maine coon for fifteen years named Chatze, and he "talked" to us like this at feeding time. It's sooo funny -- because he used to start like -- HOURs before feeding time. And by the time the food went down he just sounded so weak that he couldn't meow anymore XD Dramatic little guy.
Aww, look at him, he knows he's cute.
