Hi, thanks for the nice video. Did i understand it correctly that the views block generates the gallery dynamically based on the NID ? I am building a site right now where my content type is "Project" with a gallery inside. Do i have to make a view for each project or can i just create a views block that creates the gallery automatically for each project page ?
@movin360 In this usage, you are essentially hiding the pictures from being displayed normally and using views (as a block) to display them. This lets us modify how the pictures are displayed (grid, sizing, etc.) a little better.
Yes, it pulls the pictures from the NID. So if you go to site.com/node/125, the view looks at the URL and pulls all the pictures from NID 125. Likewise, when we go to node/145, only pictures from 145 are shown.

@esse2k Yes! Create a views page by limiting to node type, then when you show the pictures for display limit to one picture. I believe this can be random, but I have not tested it 100%. Let me know what you find and if you get stuck I can try and re-create what you are doing.
@drupalguyintexas Thank you. I managed to get the overview page with views and a using unordered list with only one result. But it shows the same image each time and i get som list formatting. It is not optimal, but it works :)

Thank you. Is there any way of making a overview page over all the galleries with only one (random) thumbnail from each gallery using this approach?
