I personally like the soloist's sound, even for this ballad, but the part where the same lick is played in a higher register (if I'm using the right terms)could have started soft and grown to ff by the last one. I'm talking about what begins at around 1:15.

The solo and backround were overall beautiful.

Great song. You're ok, but you need to work on your sound. Personally, I think that's too much edge for a ballad, especially for this song.
