@nolascoguitar b/c in some countries like the USA, we've used the term NIGGER as an insult, so NIG would be an Abreviation. Changing the name helped them well Units overseas.

Some analog pedals sound warmer than digital, but not all. The old Ibanez chorus was very warm.

You can find old Boss CE-3's on craigslist for 40 bucks pretty frequently.

What's the difference between Analog and Digital? I think Boss pedals are all digital, but what's the difference?

Digital uses a chip with code to change your sound. Analog pedals use basic electronic components like resistors, capacitors, opamps, and transistors. Analog usually sounds better, because a digital pedal is trying to mimic the real thing.
