  • I'm from New york and I visited Toronto it's a beautiful city..wouldn't mind living there...

  • i hate this place!!! the people are very colds!!! canada don't have nothing to do and nothing interesting!!! nevermore!!!!!

  • I never cease to wonder why such an industrialized country like Canada does not build any cars like the US,Japan and some Europeans countries do.

  • CHECK OUT MY TORONTO VIDEO CHECK OUT THE PLANE FLYING FROM ABOVE

  • this is my dream, i wana spent my whole life in this heaven

  • cn tower is ancient and boring. it is ugly as shit.

  • also the only american football team in new york would be buffalo bills, the new york jets and the new york gaints play out of new jersy. toronto is the only other city outside of the united states that has mlb ( major league baseball, nba, nation basketball association and soon a nfl team and the nhl national hockey league. not to mention the most prettiest women in the world, i know a traveled the world. toronto is on the fast track of being the biggest city in canada and the united states:)

  • i do agree with the new yorker but this video is old. toronto at the moment has literally i say over 500 more building over 30stories the city is growing at such a rapid pace its amazing. by 2012 we will have more buildings than new york , manhatten island is running out of room where in toronto u can expand for 30 or more ks north , east and west. the only differance now , i believe me i love new york city, is that toronto is so clean where i found nyc i bit dirty..................

  • @sintraswalls Not so. But close.

  • im afraid of heights i think i would faint O_O

  • I'm Scottish, I'm 15 and one of my good friends now lives in Ottawa! So jealous! I shall be paying a visit, Canada is awesome.

  • @laurenhmfc Your not missing much, i live in Ottawa(moved from England 13 years ago) there is a reason it's called 'The City that fun Forgot' only things here are museums, not much else.

  • Toronto is said to have more skyscrapers than Chicago, Maybe NYC in 2012 ...

  • When I went to that Tower 2 yrs ago I remember a guy acting like the glass floor was breaking. it scared the life out of pretty much everyone!

  • Toronto the Good! I love Toronto

  • Ooooh Toronto...what a beautifull city! Boring...! Have you ever been clubbing downtown there?...and the people...I love them all!!! God bless Canada!!!Truly...deep down from the heart of a true Canadian!

  • @smokeyupahead If u love Toronto and Canada so much how is it boring then? Its only boring because you people dont know how to spend time and know what to do for fun and entertainment there..

  • @Toronto324 Where did you see I said it was boring? I say the opposite, I live there when I was younger and I loved it, it's a city that has a lot of attractions and things to do. Toronto is also my birth place, and it is and will always be in my heart forever!!!

  • i can see my friends condo! :D

  • NEW YORK NEW YORK 4EVER

  • @svgyouth Try visiting Toronto at the Canadian National Exhibition mid August to Labour Day. You are going to Toronto at the wrong time of the year. Plus outside of the Parks the rest sucks.

  • how much does it cost to go up?

  • @lifeguard4life1993

The video was made in 2002, when it was $22. I don't know what it costs now.

  • @IrishFlukey oh ok thats cool then, whats the chance of me being able to get away and go to canada again anyways?, i have other places to go lol

  • @IrishFlukey 35$ for each adult

  • @IrishFlukey Its about the same.

  • @lifeguard4life1993 I think the equivalent of 2 extra-large mushroom pizza!

  • omg i wouldve flipped out lol im def. not as brave as you standing on glass floor lol but i saw the towers when i visited canada i landed in toronto

too bad that i never had enough money to do this nor thought of it lol

  • What Camera did you use to take there great zooms? Nice work. I can tell you were a bit excited.

  • @MrNormMacleod

It was a Canon MV4i, which is a small hand held camera recording to cassette tape.

  • @svgyouth

NYC's buildings are ALL to small to compare to the CN Tower in Toronto. Toronto's tallest building CN Tower is taller then New Yorks Tallest building (Empire State)

  • @team1200 it's all better in NY though...it's so freaking boring in toronto

  • @svgyouth

LOL not when i went, its so fun in Toronto. I saw like 3 concerts, comedy shows, dundas square, eaton center, downtown toronto, entertainment district, casino's.... AMAZING CITY TORONTO IS!

  • @svgyouth Dude calm the fuck down.. this was filmed in 2002... come back to Toronto after 2012.. you ll feel sorry 4 wat u said.

  • @Toronto324 THE WORLDS GNNA END IN 2012 including canada srry to say. :o plus how do u kno how Toronto will b like in 2012.. u a time traveler? It might be a craphole! jk

And im a new yorker and if youve ever been to new york ud know that toronto cant compare. just sayin :) I aint hatin on toronto its a beautiful city and all!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! AND CANADA!!!! peace!

  • @MrDeDee123 No offence but i think youre really stupid to think that the world will end in 2012. Its not true. no one can tell when the world will end. Its really foolish. I dont know if u had that idea it will end in 2012 by watching the stupid movie or jus hearing people talkin about it.. by the way, I meant Toronto is projected to look great after 2012

  • Comment removed

  • @Toronto324 lol ik i may b American but im not an idiot! I dont believe evrythng i c in movies! i wuz jking. oo and NYC is got some good projects for ground zero. LONG LIVE WTC!

  • @MrDeDee123 "God bless America and Canadá"????? Didn't you know that Canada is inside of America?????

  • @Toronto324 Bro,by 2012,New York will still outnumber Toronto,Maybe Toronto will be twice as big as Chicago( it's almost is),but NYC is the city that never sleeps, and we got a lot of projects too. And why all the Canadian projects being mosty in Toronto? What about Montreal,Calgary, and all those other great cities. I know Vancouver has some height limit, but damn, grow some balls. At least make a supertall building, not some needle to make up for it. In fact the CN tower was suppose to be a needle.

  • @team1200 CN tower is a needle. NYC's buildings have mass,and there's always Chicago.

  • @Anon7771 needle? go stand at the base and then tell me its a needle, chicago? is that a joke? You couldnt pay me to live in chicago. Theres only one other place in north america thats like toronto and that is new york city

  • @julianbinder123 I've been to the base and far away. It looks like a needle. Chicago is like Toronto. The only thing that Toronto has similar to New York is that they are both the largest cities in their countries. Other than that, nothing. Montreal is more like New York and Boston.

  • @Anon7771 toronto is the most multi cultural city in the world, thats a fact. So don't go telling me its more like Chicago then New York. other similarities are the many things filmed there (Covert Affairs, Resident Evil etc filmed in toronto)

The public transit, so many things

oh please,I refuse to let you compare Chicago to Toronto

  • @julianbinder123 New York has more people, more density, more buildings,a much bigger public transit, more history,is in the east coast, is a World Alpha City, and is the center of the Universe.Toronto has less people,is less dense,is too clean, has the tallest in Canada,is a World Beta city, has less buildings, smaller public transit, less history,is in the Great Lakes, and isn't that big.The only city in the U.S. exactly like Toronto is Chicago. Sorry, but New York is up there with London and Paris.

  • sounds like u never left new york.. yr in a dream wake up..london is a shit hole and paris is full of french people ..san francisco is best city in d states.toronto is a cool place..

  • @atraue7 I have left New York and lived in many places.London is not a shithole, and why talk like that about Paris when in your own country you have a city filled with French people. San Francisco is second to New York,in every single possible way.

  • @Anon7771 isn't too clean a good thing??? you just look stupid now

  • @asim0s0m It is,but I don't put it to high regard.

  • @Anon7771 Toronto was once called "york" and canada was discovered before u.s.a, meaning toronto has MORE history.... besides, american history mostly has to do with how much the world hates them :P

  • @asim0s0m Canadian and U.S. History are both the same. America didn't start with the British,it started with the Spanish, just like Canada started with the French. I kinda already knew Toronto's old name, and if you think American History is just people hating them, you're an ignorant bastard.

  • @Anon7771 no offence... but it's sort of the truth

  • @asim0s0m It isn't,unless you're talking about the length of Canadian history to the U.S.

  • @julianbinder123 Toronto being the world's most multicultural city is a FACTOID,not a FACT. It's the most diverse in North America, but not the World.

  • @team1200 CN tower is a needle. NYC's buildings have mass,and there's always Chicago.

  • @CanvasAddict they speak English too

  • I've been in Toronto 3 times : 1983, 1986 and 1996. I hope I'll return some day and go to the CN Tower!!!!

  • @gitane1976 lots of things changed man... time to visit again.

  • toronto the best city in the world, wouldnt wanna live anywhere else

  • I pissed on the CN Tower LoL

  • @BigWheelaCatPeelaYea fuck u i pissed on your mom

  • @BigWheelaCatPeelaYea oh you are just hilarious aren't you

  • i love toronto so much! i want to live there one day

  • T'inquiète mon frère...les Angliches, on s'les roulera dans la farine vite fait...

ÇA VA SAIGNER, J'TE JURE !!!

GRANDS CRISS DE FANTÔMES HYPOCRITES !!!

  • The tower is owned by a Hungarian :-)

  • weird

  • Le seul mot que ces grands fantômes m'aient appris c'est le mot "PHONY"...

  • I live up in North York, every time I go to my math class on the 3rd floor, I can see the CN Tower :)

  • It has since changed a lot. You won't be able to recognize the area around CN Tower. The other day I thought I was lost.

  • Love love Toronto downtown! Where I go to school, party, go out every Saturday, shop, try to take pictures of celebs at MuchMusic (lol), take pictures. I love my home! You have to be here and see everything to understand. And never ever ever am I bored! There's always too many things to do!

And too bad when you went up the CN Tower it was really ugly out. It's really beautiful and a great experience, especially when you step out to the outer ring of the tower.

  • i dare some1 to lie down on the fence

  • I was at the top of this tower in 1982. . . .

    it was simply great.

  • BANDE DE GRANDS PUCEAUX !!!

...trop polis pour être réels !!!

  • I ♥ TORONTO

  • When I went up that elevator, it was so scary lol. Also, Canada does not bash England, we have your Queen as a icon in this country, and she is on the back of many coins to in Canada.

  • postcards from Canada

  • It's crazy when you are actually looking down on some tall buildings hehe, man that is high...

  • eating dinner at the top of the Cn tower is the best. I rotates around and you get a view of the whole GTA

  • I live in Toronto its so kool Cn tower de best eva......... Toronto is the best city eva!

  • Wow, where do you live? sure toronto isn't the BEST city in the world but it's deifnately up there. There are many locations to visit, like the cn tower of course. The pay is pretty good even for immigrants, the weather is relatively good, hasn't been the greatest lately but at least it's not life threatening like in some countries where you have hurricanes, tornadoes. Wonderland has some of the best coasters.

  • You said to say something of Toronto and I told 8 things, regardless of what they were. And you think the CN tower is boring but that's your opinion, thousands that would disagree with you. I shouldn't waste my time with you. Because you've already angered many people and i'm just the one who's confronted you, nice work. Toronto doesn't suck, you're just an ignorant, close-minded asswipe who cares only about his opinion. You can comment back if you wish, however I won't argue with a child.

  • England is usually the country you Americans and Canadians bash.

  • Why would Canada bash England. Sure we're independant now, but we know our roots and we don't bash the nation from which we derived. Where are you getting your source of information, and why mention England to me if I wasn't even talking about England, or nations in general. I was talking specifically about cities. And incase you're wondering, England is part of Great Britain, the land from which Canada originated before we were independant.

  • Hey, I'm Canadian and I LOVE England, it's so nice there.

  • The Americans don,t seem to think so.

  • Americans, there more intrested in guns and burgers than contries...

  • i am albanian but i love england and canadian never been there i want to go

  • @zmajlsokoli sure dude. i'll sponsor you. bring your sister

  • Nice to hear you say that

  • @andrewbarrett42 many americans bash england but i dont find we as Canadians do after all your queen is also our queen she is on our money and her picture is in every school and goverment building and as a child we used to sing god save the queen. the diffrence between us and the states is we stayed loyal to mother england :) and im glas we did

  • @wandaslice i also find when we brits call a Canadian an american you seem to get really pissed off, as your accents sound very similar to us

  • @SHIELDZY93 well yeah ahahah its probally because we are not American ( since the people of the US have coined "american" as there own) :P that would be like calling the British French or dutch because you live near those countries

  • I,m going to Wonderland in June,I love rollercoasters.

  • Depends on which area you're in but many of the people are friendly. The crime rates aren't the best but they're much better than many of the states in the US and central america. It gets pretty cold in the winter but once it's well enough to go outside the snow is pretty fun. The summers are usually fantastic, there are many places you can go to cool off. So that's 8 good things about Toronto, should I go on, or have I proved my point? you should open your mind and explore a bit more.

  • night life, food, weather etc

  • wonderland, cn tower, awesome stores, huge arcade, alot of resturaunts, alot of kool hotels, the best hockey team, and alot of kool people! and by the way theres alot more kool stuff about toronto but i cant think of any at the moment.............

  • Now, the hockey team isn't GREAT, they use to be. Not anymore...

  • yeah your right on that one but i still like them.

  • I wanna visit there.

  • on my but she want and i wanna go so badlyim on my sisters acount cuz i to lazy to go i

  • I live in Toronto and it'z really fun. Blah to lazy to say anythng else but.... I <3 Toronto!

  • The CN Tower never gets old. I`ve been up over 100 times and still look forward to it everytime. At night is best! Eat dinner at 360!

  • I want to go there.

  • thats so beutiful!

  • was there a month ago today! got engaged there! loved it. makes the view from the twin towers seem lame, not to be unpatriotic. :)

  • I love living in Toronto.. especially in the summer.

  • its very interesting because i love the city only in winter, hahahahahaha :) i am serious

  • nice city !!

  • I love the CN Tower!

  • uh.....man that made me sick i get sick of heights except on roller coasters

  • yeah, that's my city!

  • my dad and mom went in there

  • ok so has every person living in the GTA

  • i went in that same tower 2 weeks ago

  • Although a unique idea that glass floor looking down gives me the heebie jeebies!

  • It make look a little dodgy, but having stood on it, I can tell you that it is very solid and would not be easy to smash through.

  • Obviously I know it's solid!! But I can imagine myself "plunging to the ground" by standing on it! THAT is a very uneasy feeling.

  • @IrishFlukey Yes you can be asured it will hold up an elephant I know that.

  • Great city, amazing simply amazing. I love Toronto and Canada, hey I ain't forgetting its other cities so I wanna go and see Ottawa and all the others. But first I go to Toronto again.

  • God Bless Canada, God has great things for this nation.

  • God bless canada, the greatest nation on earth. All the way from the United Kingdom!

  • agreed ^-^

  • @noahrox90

its not bad, but i'd love to go and live in canada :)

  • i disagree, i live in Toronto :P, Ottawa is a good city too.

  • Well said :)

  • nice zoom

  • I heard someone say "don't worry about the heat" it's funny when people come to this part of canada in summer, they never imagine it getting so hot, it's Canada after all.
