@TupeMGK dude totally agree. big people in the drift scene i've talked to said that d1gp went to shit in 2006ish when everyone had their 450+hp monsters. perfect example is diago, i mean 800hp? wtf fag? most respect to ae86 drivers with under 300hp.
@vavais its a fully build 4age 16v (smallport i think) and he can rev his engine upto 10k rpm but because he only uses small degree cams (he says big cams unbalance the engine) theres no point revvin it past 9k...i think the engine is in his d1sl ae71 wagon now!! nuts
@somerandomaussie exactly, around 180hp is the listed figure at the time he used the liftback ae86, probably reworked ae92 kouki block with bore-up pistons and everything, a full head job and some fine tuning, youre right about what he said about the big cams too, and yes I agree, from what a pro 4age builder tells me every time I bring up the subject (And builders dont fuck around stating false info do they?) a 4age works best at around 9.5k or so even when you reach the 240-250hp mark!

I'd said between 12 and 13000 rpm.. probably more close to the 13000rpm mark...
