@mr4METALLICA they tuned their guitars down dude. also, i heard they were going for a cleaner tone for some reason. but thats mainly why is the tuning down because jaymz cant sing high anymore :(

@redgibson1 well the singing part its understandable why but nah.. if you look at the year 09 and compare it to this, he sounds the same or take the vocal track only live hes sounds very good he still growls and everything in 2011 but use clean vocals more because im sure you dont want him to blow his voice AGAIN but i want that tune again sounds fucking heavier but still i love em after all :D

@LongLaiz just because it wasn't a favourable era to you doesn't mean they weren't just as brilliant. Load and Reload are both great albums, and if they didn't have Metallica's name on them, they would be considered good, but because it's not their 'image' it immediately gets dismissed. They had control of their career, just thank god that they didn't sell out and aim for mainstream, that truly, would have been something to dread.

@Carz888 that's not the point. As a band, you try to respect the opinion of you're fans. I agree that Load and ReLoad aren't bad albums (they have good production and structure), but it's not Metallica. And what about the eye make-up? strange fotoshoots? etc etc etc. Take a look at bands like Testament ;) never in the Big Four, but they don't ever let you down as a fan.
