  • I had "alternating exo-phoria", or "exo-tropia",which I taught myself to "control" -- from the age of 6.

  • My son had the surgery for strabismus. It failed and now he has double vision. Can the brain forget that second image?

  • I have worked as a Vision Therapist for 10 yrs and am so happy that this is on here!!!! I have worked with countless people on this and other visual issues with success!!! GREAT!!!

  • I only see one image - my brain has supressed by right eye - buy I get double vision and I get a squint.

    Can this be cured.

  • I only get that when I see double vision

But its one eye that goes in

  • My husband bought "Fixing my Gaze" for me and I see myself on every page! I also grew up in Connecticut, I had a successful cosmetic surgery in my teens, and, like you, had a similar level of eyesight: 20/20 in my dominant left eye and 20/40 in my right eye. And now that I'm watching this youtube, I also realize that I look a lot like you and have similar mannerisms. Is it genetic? Are the similar mannerisms the result of adapting to strabismus?

Thank you! My husband bought me Fixing My Gaze, and I see myself on every page. I also had successful cosmetic eye surgery in Connecticut (but in the 1960s), I also had no idea that I was missing anything until I took a depth perception test at the DMV and I had similar vision: 20/20 in my dominant left eye and about 20/40 or so in my right eye. And now that I watch this video, I see that we even look alike, especially when it comes to gestures and posture.
