If you watch the entire Cheney-Edwards debate, it's an exercise in which Cheney, almost professorally, hands John Edwards' finely-combed ideological "hat" to him.
I saw on fox news that 18 percent of americans think obama is muslim, and i said to myself, must be some redneck idiot, the guys a christian, and even if he was muslim, whats so bad about it? muslim, christianity and judaism are all the same line.
He never kicked him out and couldn't. He served the required TWO terms and never lived in the white house. You might not know that since you made your vote based on trend and popularity rather than any fact based policy and conduct issue. With that said, I am not a big fan of Bush at all, but Cheney would wipe the floor with anyone in debate and service. C-h-e-n-e-y is the proper spelling by the way.

he went to the Senate was for the Wednesday
Republican Caucus, and Edwards was not
invited.
He spent most of the rest of his time at
undisclosed locations.

Cheney preceded that remark by noting, correctly, that the Vice President was the President of the Senate. He followed that with
the lie that in that capacity he was in the
Senate doing his job every day. In fact, since
the Republicans held a majority in the Senate
the President Pro Tempore was a Republican
and therefor Dick Cheney almost always was
absent from the Senate.
Edwards did not call him on that lie, however.
