i completely agree with you there. i mean up until the 4th book he didnt even know she was a girl and even then he pretty much thought that she was too ugly to have a date to the dance. they always fought. and not in the sexual tension kind of fighting either more like brother and sister. i mean having j.k. rowling put them together is pretty much saying you should marry someone who is your complete opposite and who is always a cruel to you. i mean they have nothing in common its stupid

I'm definitely nervous about the new film, too! I heard that it mostly concentrates on the "romance" of the books, which is rather unsettling... *Sigh* Oh well. At least we get SOME moments, if the trailers are any indication. And hopefully the filmmakers recognize the value of Dan and Emma's chemistry and keep in the Godric Hollows moments in DH.
