I don't think the issue of whether Joss can sing or not is even up for debate; she's clearly talented and I don't think she has to strain her voice to sound good or soulful. However, I think that the way she models herself on some skewed idea of what a soul singer should look and sound like should be the real argument; she's fake, untrue to herself and she totally overrates her own fame and self importance. But she is a good singer. And I like her lol.

Anyone can go to a speech therapist or live somewhere for a long time and gain or lose an accent. What should matter is what people say, not what kind of accent they have when they say it. (What they DO is even MORE important.)

I feel just the same. When I come home from a terrible or good day whichever, the last thing I want is to hear her munch in my ear - not pronouncing the words and GRRRRRR it's a killer I turn it over or block my ears. It agrevates me. LOL I dont think she has right to take over that add, it's a classic, it doesnt suit her. Whp she think she is !!!!! I don't think the issue of whether Joss can sing or not is even up for debate; she's clearly talented and I don't think she has to strain her voice to sound good or soulful. However, I think that the way she models herself on some skewed idea of what a soul singer should look and sound like should be the real argument; she's fake, untrue to herself and she totally overrates her own fame and self importance. But she is a good singer. And I like her lol.

I think when she started out as the bohemian chick she was quite believeable, I think that's who Joss Stone is and who she should have remained; she's making herself out as a joke these days though, it's such a shame that a talent like Joss' has to be overlooked thanks to her seemingly endless ego.

I think you may have some Joss issues. She CAN sing, she just hides her talent under her ego. She's a bit like Amy Winehouse, but in reverse; Amy became more successful when she changed into something she isn't, Joss' success declined. Everyone in the music industry does it I suppose but Joss seriously needs to get advice on her image and her presentation. Like I said in my original comment though, I don't think whether or not she can sing is the real debate concerning Joss Stone.

You are the one who is deaf when joss sings she sounds constipated. Amy is a good singer she has experience and plus her voice is natural she does not even try. It is the drugs that distorts her singing ability.
