Obey means to do what you are told. Follow the rules or instruction. For example, 'You must obey the law'. 'The laws must be obeyed'. 'The rules must be obeyed'. 'I'm a Policeman, you must obey me'.

Alos liquor shops.. there will be so many places where childrens are not allowed based on the rules and regulations in each country. I have put a board infront of my work room 'Childrens are not allowed inside'. That is the rule/ guideline of mine :)
