And a rear wheel drive 550 bhp can do a 0-100 in 3,7secs , it just depends on the wheight of the car... for exemple the V8 Atom (which has 500bhp more or less) has a 0-100 time of 2,5secs just because it's very light

And the RS6 in this video is a 2008 model and up. Surely, Audi had nothing else to test it to when they released it as the E60 M5 had the same engine throughout the line. Only the F10 will bring out a new engine and platform.
All three of those. Sheer performance without sacrificing luxury, and EfficientDymanic made a V8 that's both lighter and more fuel efficient than the previous I-6. Can't beat BMW.
Being that the audi has a bigger motor AND twin turbos, i'd say the bmw held its own quite well.....it's hard to beat bmw motors for pure engineering.
It will be interesting to see when the RS5 comes out, although it will targeted more to an M3 I believe. You might be right! RWD M5 will strugle to keep up with the V10 Audi's Quattro in straight line or with the AWD Panamera Turbo for one simple reason: traction. but who cares? The M5 will be a better car then the Audi with some corners where it can show some M sideways action!
You need to do some aftermath here. Turn DSC off, EDC to level 1, and switch the gear box to launch control mode, on a clear proper road you should get 0-100 in 4.1secs and 0-200 in less than 13secs. Next M5 is lighter, has more hp, has much more torques and electronic differentials with the help of BMWs Double Clutch Transmission i can see a 3.7secs 0-100 and less than 12secs to 200. Your talking about M5, ur talking about BMW, audi will never be a competition, the king is coming.
Sorry to say, but you're stuck in the past. A car can't be a king forever whether you like it or not, there is always going to be some form of competition, even for your beloved BMW. It's just a matter of waking up and accepting it or not.
3,7 for a 4 door saloon car? seriously? In order for a car with that kind of wight, it will need around 800 bhp and a lot of torque. Next M5 will have the same Twin-turbo V8 you will find in the X5 M and X6 M. That means ~550 bhp, fitted with the DKG. 0-100 around 4,4 sec and not less.
U see "Buncleer" knows somthing about cars, but u "justincrap" u are just talking about somthing u don't know about.. For example a Audi RS6 MTM does 0-100 in 3.8 sec it's 4WD, 730 hp and god knows how much torque and it does 0-100 in 3.8 sec so do you really think a 550 V8 RWD can launch 0-100 in 3.7 sec?? I don't think I need to answer that :)
I dont know about this race. I think if anything it should have been a side by side race. Stock M5 is about even with the rs6 so a tuned M5 vs the Avant, the M5should have walked it.

In the beginning the Audi is faster, but after the 250 BMW has more Power Left.I always see the Tacho needle going much faster in BMWs beyond the 250 compared to Audi.This is the typicall difference between BMW and Audi with all modells comparing.I think the Audis also have a shorter Gear track..

Actually, they tested a modded Ford Mustang Shelby GT with 600 horses and it couldn't beat an M5 in a straight line, let alone a heavy E55 AMG Merc (that was a close race though). And the Shelby Mustang is American muscle and all...

@Jakap5 Top Gear did a test where they drove an RS6 down a mountain, trying to beat some skiers. The car performed quite well actually. It may be heavy, but the suspension is strong enough to compensate. The extra weight just takes a little getting used to, as Hammond mentioned.

Oh Erosa, Erosa...again with the spread of propaganda. The M5 in this video is probably an E60 and it isn't necessarily a 2005 model because that's when the E60 models started. And there haven't been any major changes up until the 2009 E60 M5, so I don't know what all the upset is about in testing it with the RS6 C6 model.

Well, were there? I mean, engine-wise...the 2005 E60 M5 model up until the 2009 still had the same 5-liter V10, unless you know of some MAJOR changes yourself that I'm not aware of. And the RS6 in this video is a 2008 model and up. Surely, Audi had nothing else to test it to when they released it as the E60 M5 had the same engine throughout the line. Only the F10 will bring out a new engine and platform.

It will be interesting to see when the RS5 comes out, although it will targeted more to an M3 I believe. Hopefully some of that weight is shaved off being a coupe with a new lighter engine, none of this wagon/sedan family car bullshit based on the A6 platform. The fastest bmw is M6 and the panamera turbo faster so why compete a bmw against a R8 V10 :) U can just compete the panamera turbo 0-100 with R8 V10 but over 100 it dosen't have any chance.. Even the new RS6 is faster than panamera turbo 0-200 :)

You might be right! RWD M5 will strugle to keep up with the V10 Audi's Quattro in straight line or with the AWD Panamera Turbo for one simple reason: traction. but who cares? The M5 will be a better car then the Audi with some corners where it can show some M sideways action!

You need to do some aftermath here. Turn DSC off, EDC to level 1, and switch the gear box to launch control mode, on a clear proper road you should get 0-100 in 4.1secs and 0-200 in less than 13secs. Next M5 is lighter, has more hp, has much more torques and electronic differentials with the help of BMWs Double Clutch Transmission i can see a 3.7secs 0-100 and less than 12secs to 200. Your talking about M5, ur talking about BMW, audi will never be a competition, the king is coming.

3,7 for a 4 door saloon car? seriously? In order for a car with that kind of wight, it will need around 800 bhp and a lot of torque. Next M5 will have the same Twin-turbo V8 you will find in the X5 M and X6 M. That means ~550 bhp, fitted with the DKG. 0-100 around 4,4 sec and not less.

For example a Audi RS6 MTM does 0-100 in 3.8 sec it's 4WD, 730 hp and god knows how much torque and it does 0-100 in 3.8 sec so do you really think a 550 V8 RWD can launch 0-100 in 3.7 sec?? I don't think I need to answer that :)

I dont know about this race. I think if anything it should have been a side by side race. Stock M5 is about even with the rs6 so a tuned M5 vs the Avant, the M5should have walked it.
