Our output of CO2 is 29 gigatons. There are 750 gigatons moving through the carbon cycle each year (IPCC AR4). The problem is that the land and ocean only absorbs about 40% of man's additional CO2 (Tripati 2009). So it just keeps accumulating (+17GT), EVERY year. This does not seem insignificant to me, nor to the vast majority of climate scientists that study it.
@garlicbreds Well we have written evidence that during the medieval warm period grapes were grown in Scotland and during the little age age the Thames river froze over neither of which has happened for hundreds of years thus weather has been more extreme in the past.
As for regional phenomena it's impossible to say because not much was recorded outside the western world during those times.

This is a well known quote mining incident.
The documentarian had journalist credentials but was clearly acting as a documentarian. He repeatedly asked the same question, over and over, filming every response until he got an angry or slightly inconsistent reply. He then published that response out of context.
Security was ejecting him because they witnessed the repeated questioning we don't see in this edit. To security, it was an obvious quote mine by that point.

But there is nothing in the emails which puts a dint in the science, as review after review has established. @Aanthanur I have read about 50 of the emails. If this was a bank they would be in jail. It is a clear case of fraud to get more government grants. You may not be able to understand the email or what fraud is, however that doesn't change the fact that they admit that the goal was to deceive.
The "independent" investigation made by their fellow conspirators don't count as having any validity. Facts may not shake from your green religion, but most people are not as blind as you.

Also there was the decline that they simply removed "for continuity" which ignored natural shift. While he accepts that CO2 and other greenhouse gases have increased due to human activities, and that this should warm the planet, he does not accept that it is necessarily an important component in recent warming. His preferred option appears to be intrinsic variability, but he provides no support for this.
Your view that "CO2 doesn't drive climate" is not supported anywhere.

Our output of CO2 is 29 gigatons. There are 750 gigatons moving through the carbon cycle each year (IPCC AR4). The problem is that the land and ocean only absorbs about 40% of man's additional CO2 (Tripati 2009). So it just keeps accumulating (+17GT), EVERY year. This does not seem insignificant to me, nor to the vast majority of climate scientists that study it.

As for regional phenomena it's impossible to say because not much was recorded outside the western world during those times.

I'm familiar with Corbyn and his solar/lunar effect. His ability to predict extreme events says nothing of his ability to have the answers on climate change (but is a good for business to confuse the two). He is not as accurate as he claims (80%), however I do enjoy listening to him, very much.

@masterkeep That "CO2" warming is insignificant - this makes sense at first glance, but does not stand deeper analysis. Its basic stuff really, Im surprised you dispute it. Firstly, water vapor only exists in the troposphere - the atmosphere is much bigger than that. Try adding a few drops of good ink to a large fish tank - you can quickly see that a small dilution can have a big effect.

It's very telling how this hacked up version has 282K hits and the more complete video has 42. There are way too many lazy people who don't bother to verify what's being fed to them. I realize it takes time and it's almost impossible to get all the facts but damn, this is pathetic.
