@Hogwit I have the iPod Touch (4G) and the enV Touch and the Brigade is MUCH thicker than the iPod, and compared to the enV Touch it is also thicker. It's a bulky phone.
@WirelessZone I didn't mean like the noise the speaker makes, I ment the keyboard it's self. Like if you turned off the phone and pressed the buttons you WILL hear a sound it might be quite or it might be loud, but no matter what it WILL be there on all buttons. Also I noticed that Verizon just updated their Casio Rock, to the Casio Ravine. Do you think an update for the Brigade it coming soon?
@Hogwit I know that's what you meant. That's why I said you can turn off the sound for keypresses. I wasn't talking about the speaker. , keypresses are the sounds when you press down on a key. You CAN shut them off. No, I don't think we'll see an upgrade for the Brigade for a while.
@Hogwit Why not just purchase this one. If a brigade 2 comes out.(which I am sure it will sometime next year) It may not be to your liking and it will most defintiely cost more. Instead of waiting just get this one and dont worry about it. Thats what I did. If the new one comes out you will end up waiting for the price to come down and than will be wondering about a brigade 3. A vicious cycle.LOL
It seems that the aspect ratio of these videos is a bit off. Kind of a squashed image. It might serve certain people better to see it as it would normally appear, maybe help discern the actual look of the phone a little better. But good information none the less. I'm considering getting this phone.
I just ordered mine yesterday evening and the phone I'm replacing is the enV2.
Living in Washington State sucks for outdoor electronics. I've been through about 4 phones in the last 2 years because of H2O damage (which most insurances are reluctant to cover).
It would have been nice to see the side-by-side comparison to the enV2.
haha funny i have an env touch and about to get the brigade i thought the brigade would be so much longer....good thing to know it isnt

How does typing on the keyboard of this compare to the "actuall" Env Touch, what I mean by "actual" is that you just have the dummy phone there.
Hogwit 1 year ago
@Hogwit The dummy phone is exactly the same as the actual phone, it just doesn't turn on.
WirelessZone 1 year ago
Also can you compare it to the iPod Touch, and the slider Chocolate?
Hogwit 1 year ago
@Hogwit Sorry, I don't have either.

@VhUgGz The Brigade is a bulky phone. Its meant to withstand extreme conditions while also giving you a quick texting keyboard and a big screen!
WirelessZone 1 year ago
@WirelessZone Cool. That's basically what I was saying. And my enV Touch is big, but this phone is huge.

How loud is the keyboard when you press a button?
Hogwit 1 year ago
@Hogwit You can shut it off, I saw your other comment about texting in school and you can if you shut off the audible sound for keypresses.

lol it looks like if you hit someone with it you could kill someone with it lol

Thank you for the title change!! :D Much easier to find, and great idea comparing the size with some of the popular cellular phones.
