I don't know that I may have overlooked the date this vid was recorded. 'm thinking late 80's. Sure are some fine people on that stage, people like Emmylou Harris. I think I have been in love with Emmylou all my life. I cannot recall how many times I've seen her live along with the "Outlaws" we so enjoyed hearing live music throughout Texas in the 70's.

Waylon kicked the drugs in 1984. I believe Rose in Paradise was his last number one hit, 1987. Waylon was absolutely the best and i have heard no one that can come close to his talent. I also love Jack-a-diamonds.

I just love this song and think it is one of Waylon's best. He looks so happy and healthy. But even more so, his voice is just so terrific. The tempo is defintely fast. I don't think Chet Atkins could keep up with it. The song just seems to have been made for Waylon. I really don't know of anyone else who has ever recorded this song. Probably is someone else out there who does.
