That God gave us free will is so that we can choose to serve Him, or not. God isn't twisting your arm or anyone else's.
Christian faith is about attaining freedom from the burdens of sin. The penalties are about knowingly being disobedient without remorse. God knew we could not walk a perfect path. If we could, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ would not have been necessary. That sacrifice gives us the grace of salvation, because, God knows we can't do it ourselves. That's not blackmail.
@stratocat9999 So, I am to believe someone sacrificed himself 2000 years ago so I don't have to endure the punishment GOD put on me from birth? Seems legit... Some people just lack rationality to believe in these threats.
@stratocat9999 "God isn't twisting your arm or anyone else's."
True, but he is using threats. The only way to salvation and entry into heaven is with a true beleif in god. Your deeds, sins, or any other actions dont count. This god is an egotistical maniac.
"the sacrifice of Jesus Christ "
What sacrifice ?? He came from heaven, spent 30 odd years as a man, suffered for ONE day, then returned to heaven. Thats not a sacrifice. Jesus was a cheating wuss
@stratocat9999 So threatening not just violence but ETERNAL TORTURE isn't coercion? And the path to freedom is to accept the control of the one who is threatening you?
WHAT did you just say? Jesus Christ already knew he's going to be resurrected once dead, since he's an all-knowing God. That's no longer a sacrifice, it's plan to fool people... think deeper!
How about a society that has never heard of the christian god, by christians going there and telling them about this "choice" are their freewills taken away by the evil do gooders?
@benaberry If they believe the Christians, then yes, their free will is removed. If they do not believe Christianity, then they still have free will. The video assumes that God exists, then moves to prove by analogy that a God as described by the Bible cannot exist in the same universe as true free will. It is not saying that by having heard of Christianity, we no longer have free will.

there's a big part of this missing, in that this video acts as if going to kfc instead of the salad bar is the same as beating your wife instead of loving your wife. God's law is perfect, as it protects and provides, and when it is broken, the actions that break it cause problems down the road, ranging from small to large. the truly wicked men will be punished, as God is just, and will not let the wicked get away with their deeds. the rest choose freely their path to be away from God eternally.
@MrPs103 So you're equating the choice of gathering firewood on the sabbath or NOT gathering firewood on the sabbath, to the choice of beating or loving one's wife.
And yes, you are, according to your defence of what you call god's "perfect" law.
The laws outlined in the bible are largely INSANITY mixed with a passable amount of common sense.
The point of the video, though, is the blackmail-ish nature of this god's so-called "choice".
@MrPs103 Your logic is incredibly flawed. Try thinking harder. I know it hurts, but you might be surprised when you find that you've been answering "2+2" wrong all these years.
No, the choice is not the choice of "beating your wife or loving your wife" the choice is choosing the accept Jesus or not... in other words, choosing to believe in Jesus or not (which in itself is impossible, because true belief cannot be chosen like eating at KFC or at a Salad bar). There are people in this world that do good things, but according to the Bible, will still end up in hell simply because they don't believe in Jesus! God given 'free will' isn't free!
@MrPs103 Even if this rant made any sense at all, it still doesn't address the fallacy of free will which is the point of the video. Evangelize all you want but at least stay on topic about it.
@MrPs103 "in that this video acts as if going to kfc instead of the salad bar is the same as beating your wife instead of loving your wife." What is gods punishment for beating your wife? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I guess its right next to the passage about not raping your wife.
@MrPs103 The very existence of a video such as this which criticises God's "perfect law" demonstrates that God's law is imperfect. By definition, a "perfect law" would be beyond any criticism.
@NonStampCollector Awesome vid. Can you make another one which talks about the logical impossibilities of a seemingly deterministic universe and 'free will'? I mean, if God is omnipotent, that means he has complete power over the universe which includes our very thoughts. So, if a God does exist, we're forced to accept (logically) that either he does have complete power but doesn't give us 'free will', or he doesn't have complete power but punishes us for not obeying him with our 'free will'
if there is a god its not the one described in the bible. worship me because of this book that was written by man or i will torture you for all of eternity. if there was a god and it wanted us to know about it wouldnt it use a credible source?i was raised christian but by the time i was 13 my dad had died from m.s. and my little brother was run over by a truck. "where two or more agree in prayer it shall be done" didnt work for us. which didnt mean that it wasnt true just that it wasnt gods will
And who can tall him You?? Romans 9:14 One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will?" But who are you, O man, to talk back to God.
Its likely this wont make sense to you ,but there's your answer God bless Matthew 13:11 He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
we have free will to do certain acts Psalm 54:6 I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you; I will praise your name, O LORD, for it is good.
we do not have free will to choose our salvation, John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. God dont love everyone Romans 9:10 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad" Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."And who can tell him?
There's a pre-requsite to being saved, and that is being willing to turn from what we know to be wrong. Some people don't make this decision, but say 'Lord save me', and God does not offer his grace to the proud.
@preachinshawn Jesus may be the savior of the world, I don't know. God may have some cataclysm planned for humanity, I don't know. What I do know, however, is that:
Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved
and
Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord will be saved
are mutually exclusive. My problem isn't with Jesus or God, it's with equating the Bible to God's Holy Word. That position keeps you from being able to really seek truth. There's no reason to believe it.
@preachinshawn That only intensifies the contradiction between the two verses.
If you could somehow disentangle your devotion to God from the presupposition of the Bible's inerrancy and divine origin, you could simultaneously distance yourself from those of whom Jesus said, "...since you say, 'We see,' your sin remains.
@preachinshawn The prerequisite to "being saved" is having been chosen by God before the foundation (or disruption) of the world. We only have the illusion of "free will". Only God's will is FREE. God has two wills as shown in Scripture: thelema and boulema. We can disobey His thelema, but NOT His boulema. Romans 9:14 One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will (boulema)?" Who can? Who does? NO ONE! Read Pharaoh's story in the OT.
@preachinshawn If I may, the major problem with the Biblical plan for salvation is the "fact" that God, being omnipotent, could have just as easily created a world in which the majority picked the right religion instead of going ahead with a plan that he knew would land most people in Hell. If God is truly good, the Bible does not reflect that unequivocally. Why must you ignore reason in defense of the Bible's inerrancy? It's an untenable position for anyone who loves the truth.
@Celebduath Truly God is good. This is why the infamous place called Hell is a fairy tale. God isn't sending anybody to hell; no one is sending himself to hell either. God is carrying out the process of man's creation; that's right! He is not done creating us in His image. We are in the school of life. On graduation day, we will become His sons and daughters. Is death the end of it all? No. Just as Jesus was resurrected, we shall all also be resurrected.
@preachinshawn God already chose who makes it and who doesn't. It's called predestination. The Apostle Paul was a big believer of predestination. He received from Jesus Himself. If you call out to Him, it's because He led you to; if you don't, it's because He didn't lead you to but to remain just the way you are. It is just not your turn to know the Lord in "this" lifetime (eon). There's a special salvation which is reserved only for the chosen few.
@preachinshawn The rest of humanity will be saved much later in the future. Truly Jesus Christ is the "Savior of the World". John 4:42 and said unto the woman, "Now we believe, not because of thy saying, for we have heard Him ourselves and know that this is indeed the Christ, the SAVIOR OF THE WORLD."; 1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. If God's Son doesn't save the whole world, then He failed His mission!
1 Timothy 4:10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the SAVIOR OF ALL PEOPLE, and ESPECIALLY (not EXCLUSIVELY) of those who believe (these are the chose ones).
1 Timothy 2:3-4
...3 God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
Decisions have consequences, sometimes social, sometimes moral, and sometimes legal. Decisions never have divine consequences however, and those suggested by men are irrational and are an insult to their God.
@drnajeebzdbest Unless determinism is right, you do have free will. And so do those who will call you to account or seek retribution for your actions.
I still don't get the whole God is testing you thing, either. If God knows the end result of every test there is or ever will be, why test? God is omnipresent, right? In all places, at all times, past, present and future, riiight? So what the hell? He knows the power, direction, speed, and temperature of air from a flap of a butterfly wing, but feigns ignorance of its consequence on the other side of the world because it's not his place to make you open your umbrella from the resulting storm?
@neojoeytabornal God is not testing us. Christendom is blinded to the fact that God is giving us an "experience of evil" to make sons and daughters of His out of us. He has made Himself responsible for the evil in the world. He will redeem all mankind!
@mrtheorogelio That doesn't make any sense at all. Giving us the "experience of evil," yet knowing full well the consequence of failure. It does nothing for those burning in hell right now, even if he does take responsibility for it. Redemption from what exactly? His mistake? An all knowing all powerful God shouldn't be able to make mistakes, like when he put the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden, let alone damn or let anyone be damned for his mistakes. Lets' see HIM burn.
@neojoeytabornal The experience of evil is not about God knowing the consequences but about us knowing good and evil. God is not finished creating us in His image. Those burning in hell? Such place doesn't exist. Redeemed from this body of corruption. We are not eternal. We are truly mortal, in spite of what Christianity believes. We shall be given an incorruptible body. God put The Tree in the garden so Adam and Eve could start their learning experience.
@mrtheorogelio What are you smoking? You obviously have your own brand of Christianity that you "decided' on. Trust me when I say most will not consider you Christian. Just some Wackadoo making up stuff as they go, like most theists. You say God is perfect, I say he is flawed. Your brand of Circular reasoning I do not buy. An incorruptible body? Listen to yourself. Wishful thinking is not truth. And who are you to know a God's intention? Who is anyone, mortals that we are?
@neojoeytabornal Don't get personal. I'm not gonna tell you what I smoke if you don't tell me which drugs you take, so! You don't like my brand of Christianity? I thought you would. Who are YOU to say God is flawed? Which brand of circular reasoning are you willing to buy? I speak to you in terms you might understand, but all I get from you is some wishful thinking stuff.
@neojoeytabornal You are truly dead, spiritually defunct. What you need is to have a personal encounter with God. Only He can reach you. You, like everybody else including me are complaining lumps of clay who are kicking and screaming at the Potter because of the way He is doing things. I suppose YOU know better than Him, right? You could be a better god, right? So typical of clay!
I do know better than him. I am morally superior to your God. That is absolute in my mind. Why would I wish to diminish myself to follow and give my soul to something beneath me? Why would you? You a sycophant? Sheep much? Have you read the bible? How can anyone who reads it think that this God is moral and just or even knows what the hell he is doing. That God is a monstrous, megalomaniac, lunatic moron. I can run the show better than him any day. So can you. It doesn't take a genius.
One thing is that the ultimate Free will is neighter possible nore usable ., as human will always decide upon some bases, even God does not have ultimate free will nore evil have. Both have to decide according to their natures. Thus The Ability of Free will is in better condition when it depends upon ur own nature. And the same case is true for human. God want that ours will must be following our nature. Now question arises that what is our nature?
The "Free Will" is just a characteristic of human. God want to control this in favour of humanity in a fasion that the ability should not be destroyed and nore it should be enjoyed.
Aren't you aware of non-coding DNA (AKA "junk DNA")? They're lines of code that do not account for any known biological processes or functions.
But whatever. You're trying to use science to prove God's presence, which is impossible and destroys the point of FAITH. No better than faith being used to prove/disprove a hypothesis.
cosmicfingerprints (dot) com. Scientificial proof that the Earth was created by a Divine creator. Also DNA is literally a written code composed of the 4 letters A, G, C, and T. It is scientifically proven that codes are made from a creator. Patterns are different, they don't have to be, but codes do.
@TheRody12 Nope, he just realized the logic in all of this, and the stupidity of his devotion. It kick-started the thought process that made him de-convert. What that learned me was that deep inside everyone, no matter how deluded, there is a spark of logic.
Some people make me laugh. STOP THINK. How can anyone tell you what is to come, after life? Do you travel to the after life regularly. Then how can you tell others what is to come. Oh yeah ! THE BIBLE . Have any of you even thought to check out the history of the bible and who put those pages together, and why those pages . There are so many scrolls. This bible contains 66 different books, your version of events . What of the other scrolls and different views that were dismissed . Hmmm
@vwazp How can you have free will, if he knows what you're going to do? If he knows then that means there's no way of you changing directions, which means it's not free will. If it was you could change what you do at any given time, but if he knows then you can't change because then he wouldn't of known. I do believe in God, many occasions, I've prayed for his help and he has helped, i just think Free Will is complete bullshit, along with most of the bible.
Why do you assume you and God are two different people? You assume duality. If God is all powerful, then he can be you, can't he? Thus I guess that makes the free will question all the more stranger.
Here is an interesting question for you to ponder if you believe in God. I thought of it myself. If God is all powerful and can do anything. Then that means he can do things that doesn't make logical sense right? He has that option since he is all powerful and not limited by anything. Thus whatever things we can't figure out or don't understand doesn't matter because God doesn't have to make sense.
@Surfakingdom Who wouldn't take the candy ?? I'm talking about situations between sins. He knows we're going to sin, he knows were NOT going to repent and he knows we're going to hell. Yet, he creates us and let's us suffer for eternity? He's almighty, yet Satin's temptation to sin is greater? He created us in his image, as sinners, we are born sinners, and growing up are nothing more then sinners. We did not sin at first born, Adam and Eve did, yet we are punished and aren't given paradise?
God gave us free will. Adam and Eve ate from Forbidden Tree that is the Original Sin. You are born into this world with the original sin. When you are baptised you are cleansed, wiping your slate clean.
In america you have freedom. Freedom is like free-will. You abuse your freedom you will get punished.
If God did not give us freewill nothing would matter. We would not exist. Simply because we are not thinking. We are here to learn. Earth is a school. (CONT.)
Earth is a school. Some will fail some will pass. In order to know what good is you must know what hot is. God believes in humans for the better. We are a part of his bigger plan.
I get what your saying though why even create us if some of us will go to hell?
Will we go to hell? Hell is only for satan. To keep him locked up. In time he will have to be released. Which revelations/2012/apocalyspe/etc will occur. He will be released to tempt humans once again. (CONT
He will be released to tempt humans once again. Satans attempt to bring you down with him before he has to return, That will be the final test(Final exams).
Hell is painted a different picture by religion (catholic).
@Surfakingdom The, "plan," suffer for eternity? I do questions religion sometimes, i sometimes think it's a lie and hell is just a way to persuade people to live a good life. If everyone followed the 10 commandments, we would be living in paradise and hell is a way to make people scared and follow the commandments.
@Surfakingdom Tell me why and how you know all this and provide me with concrete, irrefutable proof. Such extravagant claims aren't to be believed simply because they tell you to. It is also not to be believed simply because it's an old book written by people with far inferior knowledge than the average high school student today. Try it, I dare you. And please do not say you "felt" God or whatever, I don't want to have to think God is a pervert too.
no i cant still be rational because i would be believing something which makes no sense to me and is logically impossible as well as its an unsubstantiated claim with no empirical or verifiable evidence of being true. i would rather live honorably, rationally, and morally in this life than sacrifice all that to bow down to a proabably not existent being who promises eternal life if i just do whatever he wants. i refuse to be a slave to a ficticious tyrant. its just not my thing.
@JustTrollinAlong The evidence for God will be here in a few years when the antichrist sets up the beast system and forces people to take the mark. We're in the last days my friend. This has all been prophecied in the book of revelations. When it goes down, remember my words, and REJECT the mark and believe in Christ. Be blessed.
@JustTrollinAlong I'm no prophet but it will most likely happen soon because we are already starting to see the signs of the times ( predicted in the bible ) : earthquakes in various places, tornadoes, hurricanes, natural disasters and a bunch of other stuff.
I can't promise you a date but it will for sure happen within our lifetime.
And you think Im gullible for beleiving in God? You beleive in men with white coats with who knows what agenda their trying to get across. You call me gullible because I see design in everything from DNA to celestial orbits? You beleive that laws come from randomness and that design came from chaos. Im the gullible one? I don't think so.
God does give you a free choice. All hell is is seperation from God. And if you choose in this life to seperate yourself from God then that's exactly what you'll get. And then you will truly see what life is like without God. It's hell
A question for atheists. In a world where there's no proof of God's existence or of life after death; how will you explain to your children why you brought them into the world and why they should die?
@homeofbrokendreams we dont understand this perspective because in our religion our God and the devil are going to eventually go to war, as they warn us in Revelation. But we are the soldiers, (or simple minded pawns to manipulate in the devils case) so he lets us decide. you can fight for earthly things with the devil and live with him on earth (and he is just WARNING us it will not be fun) or you can be on Gods side. and go to heaven (: im choosing choice B.
@lowsodiumjazz1 The idea of free will is meaningless when 2 or more beings interact, but having at least one of them possess infinite ability (omniscience, omnipotence, etc.), thus free will would be on the side of the superior being. Unless...God is purposely being ignorant of (switches off) His own powers, then we would be able to say that God doesn't know what we are going to choose next. What you said shows that God knows the outcome and result. How does free will work there?
There is a problem with this. People do not obey the rules of God (or the dad in this situation) and they don't get punished for it. People get away with crimes. So there is free will.
this is hilarious and so true! i would love to show this to my friend who is religious, but i know she would just smile and shake her head and not get it AT ALL!
You don't even know what an intelligently designed argument is.
You'll probably come up with a load of mumbo jumbo about magical all powerful orbs called "electrons" and "protons" and expect that to be a good enough reason for me to think you're more intelligent than me.
Atleast I don't need to give it the name "evidence" to know what is blatantly obvious: God exists.
Some Christians may protest that the view portrayed in the videos does not reflect their views, and some of them might even be right. I think I know one on line at the Secular Cafe message board, but he and his ilk are far from orthodox in their Christianity.
I've so often come across the sort of argument about freedom that NSC portrays in my discussions with Christians. It seems to be pretty much the generally held view among Christians.
@Shadom any moron that worships a god who orders and condones rape, theft, genocide, slavery, incest is a fuckin tool. You're know better than a serial killer who claims god told him to. Read the atrocities in your bible!
We have the choice weather or not we go to hell or heavan. God always wants the best for us if we choose to sin there are always consequences not ordained by God but it is just action and reaction. When Jesus is knocking on the door this is about the church in false doctrine. He is knocking on the doors of the church and religions who do not have Jesus but somthing else this is about mans version of church not God
Gods law can only be kept by Jesus and Jesus alone. As a christian if we do not keep the commandments the best we can we will find that life is not that great. Sin causes suffering. But it is always our choice weather or not we sin. God will not punish us for sinning our price for sin was placed upon Jesus Christ
God didnt gave us free will, satan did when he gave us the apple of knowledge, when god knew that he throwed us out of paradise as an punnishment, took away the legs and arms of the snake and made the child birth proces painfull, he throwed out lucifer the angel for wanting the power that god had, no sir, Satan is our true lord and saviour, without him we would still be god's slaves and sucking hes dick gargling majones, thank you sir.
@shadhom "i dont need proof cause i have faith" yeah im sick, your the one beliving in something manely created to have control over you. you belive that something invinsible that no one can hear or touch, lol get a brain already, HE DOESNT EXISCT! You fail at life at such an epic level that its almost funny watching how pathetic you are, you might as well belive in unicorns and rainbow shit than god, at least those would make more sence. epic pwnage
right hes the one who is sick and yet you believe something without any proof? thats called gullibility and you are gullible. i have a pet dragon, do you believe me? of course not and why? because its an outrageous claim and i havent shown any proof that its true. so you saying that you dont need proof to believe in god is stupid. get logically smacked kid.
yet i have proof of what? are you saying i already have proof of god? or are you asking if i have proof for a dragon? i assume its the former. if i had proof then i would believe. the only proof i have is logical proofs against the existence of theistic gods. elaborate and clarify and then maybe we can discuss it.
@shadhom like how you seem to have no knowledge that laveyan satanism is a philosofical way of thinking, so you fail at life, god isnt real, get over it kid.

@MrPs103 Actually God is not fair or just and his law pretty far from perfect,a few exsampels:
Be a pedophile all your life, but ask for forgiveness and convert, and eternal paradise awaits you.
Be Hitler for a lifetime, but repent on your deathbed and all is forgiven and paradise is open to you.

"Hey, you guys want free will?"
"Well sure."
"Alright, be careful with it though, if you use it wrong you'll spend forever in the worst agony available to your kind."

-Example of exact;y the type of argument we didn't have to choice of making with god before he gave us free will.

Yes, god gives us all free will to chose him or he will send us all to hell to burn for all eternity.
Hmm sounds like a psychopath that is gives his victims free will to have sex with him or he will stab them to death.
Which of these characters do I trust?
Neither .

There's a pre-requsite to being saved, and that is being willing to turn from what we know to be wrong. Some people don't make this decision, but say 'Lord save me', and God does not offer his grace to the proud.
I have a video on this verse called:

"willing to turn from what we know to be wrong."

MomoTheBellyDancer 2 weeks ago
@preachinshawn Jesus may be the savior of the world, I don't know. God may have some cataclysm planned for humanity, I don't know. What I do know, however, is that:
Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved
and
Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord will be saved
are mutually exclusive. My problem isn't with Jesus or God, it's with equating the Bible to God's Holy Word. That position keeps you from being able to really seek truth. There's no reason to believe it.
Celebduath 2 weeks ago
Celebduath
The rest of the second verse (Matthew 7:21) you quoted says:
"but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."
See how the initiation is on the individual.
preachinshawn 2 weeks ago
@preachinshawn That only intensifies the contradiction between the two verses.
If you could somehow disentangle your devotion to God from the presupposition of the Bible's inerrancy and divine origin, you could simultaneously distance yourself from those of whom Jesus said, "...since you say, 'We see,' your sin remains.
Celebduath 2 weeks ago
@preachinshawn The prerequisite to "being saved" is having been chosen by God before the foundation (or disruption) of the world. We only have the illusion of "free will". Only God's will is FREE. God has two wills as shown in Scripture: thelema and boulema. We can disobey His thelema, but NOT His boulema. Romans 9:14 One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will (boulema)?" Who can? Who does? NO ONE! Read Pharaoh's story in the OT.

Is it possible that God could chose those he knows will call out to him?
preachinshawn 2 weeks ago
@preachinshawn If I may, the major problem with the Biblical plan for salvation is the "fact" that God, being omnipotent, could have just as easily created a world in which the majority picked the right religion instead of going ahead with a plan that he knew would land most people in Hell. If God is truly good, the Bible does not reflect that unequivocally. Why must you ignore reason in defense of the Bible's inerrancy? It's an untenable position for anyone who loves the truth.
Celebduath 2 weeks ago
@Celebduath Truly God is good. This is why the infamous place called Hell is a fairy tale. God isn't sending anybody to hell; no one is sending himself to hell either. God is carrying out the process of man's creation; that's right! He is not done creating us in His image. We are in the school of life. On graduation day, we will become His sons and daughters. Is death the end of it all? No. Just as Jesus was resurrected, we shall all also be resurrected.
mrtheorogelio 2 weeks ago

@neojoeytabornal God is not testing us. Christendom is blinded to the fact that God is giving us an "experience of evil" to make sons and daughters of His out of us. He has made Himself responsible for the evil in the world. He will redeem all mankind!
mrtheorogelio 2 weeks ago

Aren't you aware of non-coding DNA (AKA "junk DNA")? They're lines of code that do not account for any known biological processes or functions.
But whatever. You're trying to use science to prove God's presence, which is impossible and destroys the point of FAITH. No better than faith being used to prove/disprove a hypothesis.

RealPeopleOnDeck 5 months ago

Why do you assume you and God are two different people? You assume duality. If God is all powerful, then he can be you, can't he? Thus I guess that makes the free will question all the more stranger.
I also believe in prayer, it is very powerful.
vwazp 5 months ago
@RealPeopleOnDeck

Yet, he creates us and let's us suffer for eternity? He's almighty, yet Satin's temptation to sin is greater? He created us in his image, as sinners, we are born sinners, and growing up are nothing more then sinners. lowsodiumjazz1 3 months ago

I've so often come across the sort of argument about freedom that NSC portrays in my discussions with Christians. It seems to be pretty much the generally held view among Christians.

I am so using this on my kids when I have them, just to teach them how ridiculous the basis of the Old Testament is.

@MissChaceurz But if your god knows what you do before you do it, that's pretty fucked up of him not to stop it, if he knows it is a sin.
Grow up. It's a fairy tale. A horrible one at that.

The free will that you speak about is not what the bible teaches.
NOW READ THIS THERE IS NO FREEWILL!
Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

God didnt gave us free will, satan did when he gave us the apple of knowledge, when god knew that he throwed us out of paradise as an punnishment, took away the legs and arms of the snake and made the child birth proces painfull, he throwed out lucifer the angel for wanting the power that god had, no sir, Satan is our true lord and saviour, without him we would still be god's slaves and sucking hes dick gargling majones, thank you sir.

@JustTrollinAlong And yet you have proof?
TheEagleTeeth 5 months ago
@TheEagleTeeth
yet i have proof of what? are you saying i already have proof of god? or are you asking if i have proof for a dragon? i assume its the former. if i had proof then i would believe. the only proof i have is logical proofs against the existence of theistic gods. elaborate and clarify and then maybe we can discuss it.
