  • I came to watch the seriously, being interested in gay marriage equality.

But the whole time I was giggling at the Grandmother. She's just staring at the camera with a creeped out look on her face ^^

  • vote no on eight! i have gays in my family and i know very well that being gay is not a choice! its genetic and every gay person should have every right a man and woman couple has, including the right to marry.

  • NO on 8!!! don't discrimination!!!

  • NathansHotdogs,

Whenever someone quotes something from the bible, they are calling evil good and good evil.

  • @NathansHotdogs So I'm guessing you're against Prop 8, a bill disguised as a protection but in truth is taking away a civil right?

  • stupid?

    why?

  • The Supreme Court Judges can also overturn the "amendment." Many amendments have been overturned on the basis that they are unconstitutional, violating "equal protection and the 14th amendment (which 8 does). California school curriculums are locally run (different than MA) and a parent can already remove their kids if they dont agree on a moral basis with any "health ed. Health class in high school teaches marriage and this is the "legal and financial" side of marriage, not who to love.

  • Prop 8. is not about discrimination. It is about civil rights. The right to the will of the people which was overturned by only four judges (three dissented). What about my civil right of not having my children forcibly indctrinated starting in kindergarten? If you show your wife, then who is the husband? Actually, in California, it is now Person A and Person B and not bride and groom. Thank you for taking that way from us.

  • crnerd,

I don't believe *anything* is done "forcibly" in kindergarten.

But if we could teach all children not to hate others, just because of things they and their families don't understand, sign me up for that school.

It looks to me like the family above is a loving, happy one where no one is hurt and all support one another. Don't you wish all the heterosexual ones were that fabulous?

  • please review the civil rights movement, "nerd" to understand how those changes we experienced as a nation came to fruition.

    1) Brown vs. Topeka Kansas is a good place to start

but maybe to understand it, you should go back and read:

    2) Marbury vs. Madison

Great to see that history does, in fact, repeat itself...

  • Cummon, you can still be a "husband" or a "wife," no ammendment will take that from you. If being person A and Person B (on legal paperwork) hurts you, imagine not being able to get legally married because you were born a hermaphrodite and your parents chose the sex that was the same of the sex you ended up being attracted to later in life. In the name of traditional marriage, you were not able to marry who you love even tho your "gender assignment" was chosen for you? This happens!

  • Amazing, I love it! You ladies are beautiful!

I'm forwarding to everyone I know.

    Let's go get 'em!!

    xoxo-Tisha

  • Aw, your family is so cute.

  • Rock on Jillian!
