  • cabbage does not smell when you stir fry cabbage without covering the skillet. cook under low heat. I always cook cabbage with frozen pea plus carrots, a few green chillies. . Will try the shredded mango next time.

  • what is the powder added at the end?

  • finely chopped cabbage, grated carrot, grated green mango, urad & channal dal for seasoning, shredded fresh coconut, coriander and curry leaves, powders (see next comment on how to prepare)

    HowTo: season urad & channal dal with out oil and put green chillies &curry leaves. cover the lid for a minute. Put chopped cabbage and let it cook for 7-8 min. Add yogurt to remove any smell of cabbage. After it is cooked with yogurt add grated carrot, mango and cook for a min. see next comment.

  • Finally, add raw coconut and curry powder (Dr.Raju's curry powder) and coriander leaves.
