The sadness of this film really touch my soul. It's like beeing in a dream... This film make me feel like suicide is a good thing to do...even if I don't need it 'cause my live is great. But sometimes I am so unhappy without any reasons.

i get what youre saying and i defintely dont think that suicide is the right thing to do but she didnt say that her life was hard she said that sometimes shes unhappy for no reason. and im not really trying to be rude but she doesnt live in a 3rd world country and the issues shes facing now may be big to her and really who are you to tell someone whether or not their life is hard? you have no idea what shes going through. i also dont think equating sadnesss with being human will help many ppl..

@dirtballdan1000 Not really.... depression is normal yes but there is clinical depression which is a lot harder to deal with. Even if the person feels like there's no reason to be depressed, they still get down easily and the littlest thing can push them in the wrong direction. They may even start crying for no real reason and then all these bad thoughts start pouring in and they just beat themselves up. Then they get exhausted and don't feel like doing anything and they're just in a daze.

Music videos? Um, well first you will need a editing software. Windows Movie Maker is good for beginners and usually comes with the computer, unless you have a Mac and then you'd get a program similer to WMM. Then you can get your footage. If you don't have a DVD ripping software then you can download what you need off the internet through torrents and other sites. If you have any questions let me know. :)

It is a story by Jeffrey Eugenides, and Sofie Coppola is one of the very, very few directors that captures the spirit of the book in the movie.

It is a portrait of a christian family in the middle of America, and the daughters are trapped in the mentality.

They try to break out but they can't and in the end they all commit suicide.

It is a very good story and an even better film.
