Nettes Interview. Hätte ich das gewusst, hätte ich an dem Tag "Exlusiv" geschaut. Aber stimmt, hier und da hat der Kommentator schon Fehler gemacht. Soweit ich weiß heißt Jons Frau mit Vornamen Dorothea und nicht Rose. Kann natürlich auch sein, dass das ein zweit Name ist. Aber schön dass Jon scheinbar noch so Bodenständig ist. Da ist Familie schon wichtig.

Maybe, you've got an answer from an other person. But,this was an Interview in german TV. Unfortunately to rare interviews in German tv. Everytime we Germans had to do translate much of interviews or shows from english to german language. It's not an easy thing. Do you understand my english language? I life in germany :-D

There is no problem with translating an interview, but I think that subtitles would have been a better choice. If every word is dubbed like this, you cannot even hear the sound of the interviewee's voice. And that's really a loss. With subtiltles you could keep the original voice and provide the translation at the same time. But, of course, that's the choice of the television guys, and you could do nothing about that... Thanks for posting, but I don't understand a word either.

Actually I don't understand German at all. But I can listen to other Jon interviews, so it's not much of a problem for me. What I wanted to say is that you covered Jon's voice with your translation and that's a loss especially for you, the Germans, 'cause YOU cannot hear the inflections in Jon's original voice here. All you can hear is a translator's voice. That's why I was making a plea for the benefits of using subtitles. I hope that you don't dub films, cause that would be really terrible.
