I don't think Glenn Beck is a racist. He's just a complete (slightly unhinged) money-grabbing fraud. Nor do I think most of the anchors, producers, etc, at Fox News are racist per se. But they are very willing to construct and intentionally allow the development of themes that can be construed as such. Because it keeps that section of the audience happy and therefore brings in what is most important to the network: dollars.

No, foxnews did not air the story until after she resigned. Foxnews.com did have the story along with the incriminating video clip up on their website and they published the story before she resigned. Chris Wallace did not lie, he told a half-truth which is just about as bad. Howard Dean was right to blaming racism at foxnews.
