What does anyone see in her? Maybe it's what we hear in her music. 13.13 is a brilliant album. It's almost unclassifiable. It has elements of no wave, goth, experimental, post-punk. It's a powerful album, and I respect her simply for that.
I agree with you about 13.13 implictly. Out of all the bands she's played with and all her solo work that particular album is her opus. Sad thing that the only thing I can find from that album on here is Dance of the Dead Children. Amazing too when you think of how young she was then, early 20's maybe. It's almost inconcievable with all the crap that's out now to think of a female artist that young doing something comprable. I was lucky enough to see her do a Teenage Jesus show 18 months ago
Let me clear this up for everybody (including Witch who posted this). There is no song "I'm lunch". Lydia did this at a Dead Boys show. They have a song called,"I need lunch".
Lydia was always cool, then and now. way cooler than solwolfpunk who's probably just jealous
that Lydia is a bona-fide part of NYC punk/music/performance history and she[solwolfpunk] is basically a jhonny-come-lately-wannabe...{yep, i saw your myspace page..shheeeesh!)
Actually, I kinda think that solwolfpunk is also very young, and maybe we should cut her some slack too. She seems to live vicariously through her favorite performers, so maybe she just needs to grow up some.

What does anyone see in this annoying twat? She has all the charisma of a Nancy Spungen or Courtney Love.

What a ditz. She sounds like fake blond and she makes Madonna look like a Rhodes scholar.
