I play the RB2 set (not double bass) and still do fairly well on Painkiller.. just started about a year ago (at 5 months I was passing Painkiller). (started on Easy and Medium for 2 weeks and got to hard on week 3.. and week 7 or 8 i was up to expert.. and now I think I'm fairly good)

I do just as good with people with IONS (which makes them better.. because they have double the bass and the drumset don't break) on my RB2 manufactured kit... which i think is good.. I've beaten so many ION people.
