@heyemaker .. bro youre never too late to learn. basicaly you need a well performing qualified teacher to learn the rules (more then 2 year course) then its a case of mastering the level of you voice, how to raise it, when to lower it and the level of reduction in the tone ... brother basically its years or practice to master controlling your voice... i've been practising since i was 13 ish and still practice every day except when i was 14 i used to practice occasional and now nearly every day

No m8. he is not an Iranian. Because he excatly is Sheikh Abdulbasit Abdussamed. He is from Egypt. No doubt of it. This reading.. This voice.. i ve listened to this reciting when i was 3 or 4.. i remember him.

Abdul Basit was born in the southern part of Egypt in 1927. He memorised the Qur'an before he was 10 years old and learned all of its seven readings. He was invited to recite during the Tarawih prayers at local mosques during Ramadan when he was just 14 years old.

@heyemaker It is never too late brother. If you do a search on Youtube for Yasir Sharqawi, you will see an example of a young contemporary qari (egyption) - I have learnt a lot by just listening to him.

the only one that is said to have braught water to a halt, make all animals in the range of his voice turn to him and pray to allah when he recited allah's word is prophet Dawid (SW). from what i understand all human voice is 1 branch of his voice both male and female. and abdulbasit is the very best of his time but not of all time.

Indeed this is the legend Abdul basit.how come abdul basit fans cannot tell his legendry voice.
