I love the Golden Girls but the writing isn't the same in the Golden Palace. I still think it is worth watching.

I liked Golden Girls so I tried to like this show, but the writing is awful. It's only funny when it's so bad it's funny - like when Blanche goes "Marriage isn't something you just jump into, like a bed." I thought maybe this episode with Dorothy would be better since it's the old team, but it's just the old team with crappy writing. Interesting to watch anyway though

Not really. If you think about it, Blanche is a very sexual woman. Sex is just sex. It's an act, not an intimate moment. So, it doesn't really surprise me.

do you know what i have always noticed about this show? i feel like after dorothy left, the remaining characters began an exaggeration of their personalities. Rose is more stupid, Blanche is more slutty and Sophia is more hilarious haha. Like aging a fine wine. I'm not complaining though, since it makes me laugh three times as hard hehe.

Well, Rose and Sophia were the ones who changed into this series(they were vaguely beginning to change at the end of "The Golden Girls")., Rose started acting like Dorothy(more stronger, and a leader-like character), and Sophia started acting more senile, but also more nicer than in 'Girls'. Blanche changed too, a little bit, but she still had her original character in her.
