i'm not a big fan of red alert 3...it's just too cartoony for me.

C&C3 is right up my street, i enjoy it for both 360 and pc, pc more obviously, specially with custom maps and a max of 2000 units ;p

Yes, It is a very interesting faction to play with! And I mean that. Try to play against Moskin's brutal... even you paired up other Japan AI on hard,,,,It's still bloody hard.

I love the "Across the Pond" tactic, since my favorite is Scrin I'll utilize that often.

One of my tactics is the Shuri Line tactic where I place many lines of defenses...don't know if that works for Red Alert 3

Heh it will work... but for a short time. One of the great things about RA3 is that it's possible to get around anything. If your opponent sees you have a solid wall of defence, he'll probably focus on a naval army and attack yuo from behind from the seas. Or he could get an artillery unit and take out the defences from a distance.

Red Alert 3 is the worst RTS game ever released that actually runs.

It's bulletproof code and has no crash problems. But the graphics and gameplay are literally like something out of the early 90s. With the exception of the smooth feel, the gameplay is inferior to that of C&C1.

I don't think Red Alert 3 is a bad game, it's actually pretty entertaining by itself, but only Westwood, and probably Petroglyph would be able to generate the true C&C and RA atmosphere and soul.

The problem is that EA have kiddiefied these franchises with stupid units.

I still think RA3 is just inexcusably terrible though. It's shockingly bad for a game released in 2009; RA2 was orders of magnitude better in almost all respects. But I still prefer RA1 over that.

And C&C over RA1.

I love it 360 times more for the xbox 360. But that's my opinion, I like the options more, plus the xbox options with the options to play with all your friends campaign is better ect.
