There's only one way you can really learn this is and it's just by copying what James Brown does, and making it look good for yourself. That and a very complicated tutorial that show every little aspect of it, because there is no definite way, it changes and stuff is added every time.

en fait ça doit se faire sans reflechir c'est surtout ça qu'il faut dire, quand je l'ai fait la premiere fois, j'avais 12 ou 13 ans, donc yavait pas les videos sur ordi, je regarrdais les lives sur magnetoscope, et je le faisais en regardant l'ecran comme si ct l'ecran le miroir.. c'est venu d'un coup, peut etre parceque le moonwalk m'etait venu naturellement aussi (je n'ai aucun souvenir de qunad je l'ai appris)

you Rekunta..need to watch Michael during his WBSS live performances..especially during the Dangerous and history tours and then compare those performances with what ramady is doing here and then you realize how off completely unterrible this demo really is. And if you watch the two documented times where James Brown and MJ have been on the stage together, you'll notice MJ doesn't pick his feet off the ground either, but he does in fact shimmy like this.  This guy is good. MJ still da best th

He does lift his entire foot off the ground, not just slide it back and forth. Not only that, but he extends much further to the sides. Watch "Billie Jean's Best ever moonwalk" for a good example.

In my opinion there's really not a comparison. Maybe it's a completely different move I'm thinking of, check out those two and let me know? It looks the same to me however, just more refined and precise.
