Hmmm...i like it but theres something thats taking away from the realism. its either the size/ shape of the flare, or the kick of the gun. when you shoot a gun, the barrel of it doesn't fly up like that. make it seem like the gun is actually kicking your hand back. look up some videos of real guns shooting and try to mimick that. also look up Freddiew he does really good muzzle flares. if you can do that this would look 20x better. but good eitherways

@TheSubsProject Freddiew's tutorial is exactly what I followed to do the effect. I followed everything exactly how he did it, it's just the way we kicked the gun back that's giving it an unrealistic effect.

very realistic! I have a lot of gunfire in my next movie and didn't even try flares.
