@s2AaronHonieee, i'm not that arrogant, just that when it comes to singing, even though skill is important, but pronunciation is also important, if u think that only singing skill is important, then u really dunno what are the qualitites to be a good singer, no matter how good one's singing skill is, bad pronunciation with make the whole thing becomes ugly, if people wanna use foreign language song to win a competition, gotta make sure they have good enough pronunciation

Personally, I really don't like Yoga's voice...its not very clear...kind of like there's something in his mouth. He does express pretty well, though.

I like Zhang Jie's singing better than his, and his voice also has a much more unique quality to it that makes it stand out.

ruecute: i'm not from taiwan and comin' from a neutral country with exposure to both taiwan/hk/sg/mainland chinese pop music, i think your statement that taiwan produces crap is unjustified. personally i feel that taiwanese mandopop has produced a credible bunch of singers that have proven to be succesful commercially beyond their shores. I can't say the same about many of the mainland singers when it comes to measuring their popularity beyond the mainland.

When both of them singing at the same time, Zhang Jie powerful voice cover Yoga's voice. Overall, of course Zhang Jie is better, the sharpness, high pitch voice, fluctuation tones, powerful voice, able to listen to every word he sings. Zhang Jie's voice kinda like Jeff Chang/Zhang Yu Sheng/Xiong Tian Ping. All of them have great clear powerful voice. Some singers nowadays really need to pratice their voice especially those chinese female singers, unlike those foreigners female singers also good.

These two singers. Yoga is a great singer, and so is Zhang Jie. But for this particular song, I believe Yoga's voice is much more suited. He has a thicker voice and he's able to release more power for this type of song. However, Zhang Jie's voice is amazing as well, but he's more suited to sing Pop styled songs, or songs that just don't need such a unique voice to sing. Zhang Jie just has a thinner voice, but his songs are still wonderful to listen to.

are you kidding? I hate Zhang Jie's pop songs. His voice is more powerful, whereas Yoga's is more unique-sounding (which can be good or bad, depending on the audience). So Zhang Jie's songs needs to be powerful and strong to sound good, and Yoga's more fit for soft ballads.
