I'm a VEGAN and a Christian- and I believe that God's given dominion over animals means that we as humans have a greater responsibility to protect them. Quoting Leviticus is pointless since that is the Jewish tradition that Jesus came to abolish. Scripture has to be kept in its cultural and historical context. But we're not all bad.
